this pre-dates G-Funk, but one of my favorite West Coast old school hidden gems is the "This Is For The Homies" track by Rodney O & Joe Cooley, not the one that appears on the album, but the one that contains a mix from Johnny "Guitar" Watson's "A Real Mutha For Ya. "
