The vastness of the desert sand got me caught in a trance of meditation,
Where conscious and subconscious merge I feel no urge on contemplation,
Im tuned into Allah's station as I desolve into the horizon,
Realizin my purpose in life all these years the comin of a wise man,
I never had a moments peace in the streets of the West
So I headed East where one can melt sand upon feet,
Saw a desert caravan of a turbaned man
and remembered that these are the lands of the African
The great Mansa Musa of the Islamic kingdom
The rugged Arabs of the North, and Sudanese of the East
The Sahara, where a swear I was dehydrated
either that or I was so high from ganga that eye,
must of seen a group of jin ridin a camel by
they gave me an akward eye until the wisest among them
Told me I must slay the Lion within to find true wisdom
I discovered a well and quenched my thirst,
Then I began to meditate against my reflection within...
I saw a man who was mired in a a muddled confusion
But the confusion was just an illusion
The deserts open-ness had cured my sickness
And I remembered that I'm blessed
So I continued my quest and came upon a lion....
with no fear I shoved a knife in its breast...
And that concluded my quest...
I found peace in this African oasis.
