Title: Big Tigga Speaks: "DAZ IS ON ROC"
Post by: Big BpG on April 25, 2001, 11:52:50 AM
My friend came to pick me up last night and he told me that Daz was on rocafella and I asked him how he knew that for sure and he said Big Tigga from Rap City was talking about Daz signing to R-o-c on the show.... I was like DAMN!

Came out of my friends mouth, not mine. I rarely watch TV so I don't know.

i also heard that daz is producing some of jay-z's next album (diss album).

It wouldn't be wise for daz to get involved in the qbfinest Vs roc beef. If you didn't know, this beef is already well underway and i predict that it's gonna be the biggest beef ever.

nas and jay-z always had a rivalry type of beef (notice how they never collab), both want to be named 'king of ny'.

i think the qb-roc beef started with nas dissing memphis bleek on nastradamus (don't know why). Roc then went on hot97 and dissed qb (no names mentioned though) over qb beats.

Also, in some magazine jay-z dissed a lot of rappers in ny by saying that when DAZ & KURUPT made ny ny no rapper in ny retaliated back. Prodigy of mobb deep relentlessly dissed jay-z saying that he was still hiding in cracks then and how he never answered certain people back (pac).
Mobb deep have made tracks already dissing the whole of the roc.

Jay z probably forgot that cnn and mobb deep did answer back to ny ny with la la.

QB has the team

-Nas (GOAT)
-Mobb deep (best duo in east)
-CNN (second best duo in east)
-Bravehearts (up and coming group)
-Cormega (craziest rapper alive)
-Nature and more others

Rap-wise QB destroy roc.
If it came down to violence - no competion for QB.

And is ROC just Jay Z, M Bleek and Beanie
Sigel?

Bravehearts=horse, jungle(nas's brother) and i think the last one is grand wizz(remember illmatic).

Roc=jay-z, beanie and memphis geek. When they were dissing qb up at hot97 they were about 30 deep-some rappers some not.

Yeah I got Illmatic and I know he mentions Grand Wizard but the wizard doesn't rap does he?  Only AZ raps on that album apart from Nas - is that right?  Who is AZ ne way?

Snoop Has Done A Dozen Cover Songs (Lodi Dodi, The Ghetto Symphony, Etc.) So I'm Sure He Wouldn't Mind Nas Jackin' His Lyrics.

BESIDES, Didn't Jay Z Jack the Same Verse?

I know rash comment by me - it's not really Nas taking the lyrics but know nothings reactions.
10 million peole own the Marshall Mathers LP and I bet only about 4 million no that it was Snoop who made up "Oh no, big snoop (slim) dogg back up in the heezy baby"
That's what bugs me

Oh definitely cuz that ain't as mainstream as MMLP but Oochie Wally is on the radio and people do the first bit of it (6 in the morning) and don't know Snoop did that
Title: Re: Big Tigga Speaks: "DAZ IS ON ROC"

true.
do you think nas asked snoop first or do rappers just go out and do it.
Title: Re: Big Tigga Speaks: "DAZ IS ON ROC"

I ain't sure I don't think Snoop could sue or nething even if he was an asshole which he isn't - me I would always call 'em
Title: Re: Big Tigga Speaks: "DAZ IS ON ROC"
Post by: Hambone (Guest) on April 25, 2001, 01:43:28 PM
nah.....im sure he didnt ask him..just used to...most rappers give props in there songs.....when they say something like...

as snoop would say, bitch please...

on my new MJG and 8 ball cd, they were rappin and they repeated a verse from snoops doggystyle days...and they said..
".....as the muthafuckin topp dogg would say, pimps up, hoes down, if the bitch cant swim, shes bound to driiiizzzown......"

so they gave props to him in the song..that is what everybody should do if they use a couple of verses from someone else...

the roc- qb beef goes back to some tupac shit....

mobb deep and nas never forgave jay z for never sayin shit after pac dissed him and there was an infamous nas freestyle on the radio where he says-

"im out to prove that im the best my minds set up on the evidence/ plenty others try to front but get deaded like the presidents"

now that is clearly a jay z diss if i ever heard one....so jigga came back with some shit sayin-

"new yorks been quiet since snoop came through and crushed them buildings"

that is when things hotted up as mobb deep and nas took that line very seriouslly and started talking about how jigga never did shit when pac dissed him cos he was too scared in numerous interviews...

next nas said some shit on a freestyle promoting his album at the time that went-

"niggas is ready for me to shoot ya and show you the pain/ but the truth is i aint gon pollute my album with your name"

or something like that and this got jay pissed off

jay z bombed next on memphis bleek's album on the joint "whatchu think off that?" where he says-

"like i aint that nigga you based your life on/i guess i aint the reason you got that ice on/ like i aint 5 mil and what did your joint go?/ excuse me? nigga dont confuse me"

this was apparently aimed at nas and so was a certain line on memphis bleek's "my mind right" remix (but im not sure which)

recently theyve both shit talked about each other in interviews and memphis bleek has openely dissed both nas and noreaga on his new album....

so thats the current state of play....memphis bleek talked about it himself in the recent source issue (with trick daddy on the cover) but so far nas and co have refused to comment (except prodigy who disses jay z and them in pretty much every interview he does)

i cant stand mobb deep..they get on my nerves......lol..i dont know why tupac had beef with jay z, but Hit'em tore new assholes for alot of those east coast rappers....haha...

good info cremedelacreme.
on the song titled nastradamus nas spits 'you want beef, i can let a slug melt through your hat'
in xxl (i think) memphis geek says that nas was dissing him, thats why nas got dissed in geeks album.
in the intro of the QB finest album jungle (nas's brother) goes something like 'iv'e got a metal slug waiting here to burn your durag, coz u is a bitch'.

this beef is gonna be the biggest eva, i said it.

Just coz Daz cool with Jay Z doesnt mean he'll become a target

Daz & Kurupt are cool with Noreaga as they squashed that old beef along time ago (Kurupt gives him shoutouts in callin out names)

I dont pick sides in most beefs anyway, & i'm not doing that here either coz i like both sides in this beef, but Mobb Deep are big favorites of mine.

I got a few songs & freestyle were they diss each other

Thanx Crem for the info

Peace

I Used To Get REALLY Upset When Peeps Would Cover Songs, And Everybody Thought They Were They're Own...

I Almost Got In A Fistfight Over That Jodeci Song "in The Still Of The Night"... Some Punk As$ Told Me That Jodeci Wrote It, And I Told Him It Was A 5 Satins Song, He Told Me I Was Full Of It.

Same Thing With Prince's "Betcha By Golly, WOW!"

And Does Anybody Know, WASNT Jigga Biting Snoop's Entire Verse In A Song? I Don't Listen To Him, I Just Saw It At An Awards Show....

we'll have to see what happens with the kim cnn situations. i think mobb deep will not collab with kim anymore coz she's been on gay z's dick lately.

beanis is tight but falls short to nas, prodigy and capone.

ohh yeah i forgot

on the qb finest album capone of cnn sings this on the track 'our way'.

'it aint nothing but a g thing baby,
henessy is the drink that fades me'

they have also got a track called straight outta qb and cormega starts with

'straight outta queens bridge, a crazy motherfuka named cormega'

hmmm sounds familiar.

The Roc is deeper then you think. THey got a bunch of dudes, Freeway who alot of people feel is pretty good, (who I think is wack) they have moschino (who I never heard rap before) they have some other people. They have been apearing on a bootleg hot97 mixtape. Everyone has been talking about it in my school.

id have 2 say its a tie with all 3 of those but NAS....
dudes tightest material was
ILLMATIC and sum of his guest spots....
now he juss makes shake my head.....
sad cuz he was a good emcee...

This is juss my observation....
but NAS fell waaaaaay off & never recovered after 2PAC dissed him...
even though it was written was pretty close 2 what he did on the 1st...
he went 2 that ITALIAN-GANGSTER shit......
i dont like that
