Miguel Tejada is playing.
Jason LOL Giambi is playing.
Andy Petitte is playing.
It is so obvious that there is some type of unspoken, unofficial collusion type of thing going on with Bud Selig and baseball's higher ups to the owners to keep Bonds away from baseball. Its obvious that Barry can still hit and as a DH it's obvious he would still put up big numbers, the point of this is, Bonds is still being singled out like he has been for so long.
Kobe Bryant might be the most hated player in Basketball but when it comes to Sports in general no athlete gets treated as unfairly and bad as Bonds does.
-
And before some of you say well he deserves it, how so?
Cause he cheated like the other thousands and thousands of athletes in his time, lol at Bonds facing 40 years. With all the horrible people we have in the world, murderers, terrorists and rapists they are spending so much time and tax money to get him, they are going after Bonds like he was John Gotti, disgusting.
-
Nobody wants him on their team...get over it.
-
Nobody wants him on their team...get over it.
That couldnt be farther from the truth, Jason Giambi has a job.

Giambi isn't an arrogant prick like Bitchboy.
-
Giambi isn't as big a distraction either..

Yeah, and maybe if bonds would've took the same route Jason did, and admitted it from the get go. He probably would be in a better situation right now.
-
Yeah, there is a team that wants Bonds.... The Alabama Butt-Cracks. A ball team made up of plumbers, cable guys, mechanics, pig farmers and such. That's probably the only team that Barry can play on these days.

hilarious. ::)

really? I thought so too... 8) and although it's just a joke, it's probably not far from the truth. :)
In reality though, there is a grapefruit leage team out there waiting for Mr. Bonds.

Dude this is a huge misconception about Giambi. He never admitted anything from the get go, LOL in court he admitted to taking steroids but that was a couple years after the controversy started and he only testified that he did it because it was a sworn statement and a sworn testimony, little did he know that there would be a leak and the public would find out about the testimony. The point is, Giambi didn't own up to anything from the get go, he lied from the beginning just like the rest.
-
Jose Canseco called and said stop bitching. No one wants him b/c of the shit storm that comes along with him. Bonds faces a lot more scrutiny then the names you mentioned b/c he is a arrogant asshole and has been since his college days. And the fact he cheated to break baseball two most sacred records.
-
And lets not forget that him and Tyler Perry went down the red carpet together!
I'd take him on the Padres tho.

The Giant's Organization are Defo Biatchez for what They Did To Barry.
Yes! Bonds has been the One of The Biggest Pricks To The Media In The History of Baseball Sports.
But what the Giants Did or Didn't Do In standing Up For Bonds & now By completley Seperating themself from Him
By Removing All His His Likeness & Any Refference Towards Him from their Stadium & Memoribilia is A Complete Blackball Job.
I agree SPICE.
The Giant's Loved Barry During The Record 61 Chase
During the All-Time Homerun record Chase...... Breaking Attendence Records ect.
Now he Don't exist.. :-X
I'm Not A Bonds Fan, And Honestly What The media has done to Him, He has Done to Himself with his actions Towards The Press/Media Over The years. (They are The ones that make Or break whoever They want)
Bonds can still Contribute, His Numbers are Still up There...
But is he worth The Trouble & baggage that Comes Along with it?
-
barry bonds is also like a million years old and wants a lot of money, who wants him on their team?
-
I don't know much about Giambi's situation but Pettite at least admitted it and didn't spend years and years denying it, plus Bonds is just old
-
its giambi's last year on his contract
pettitte's last year too but thats cuz he signed a 1 year

and after the steroids thing came to light you know the yanks were looking for a way out of Giambi's contract at the time.

they were, they tried to see if he breached his contract, but he didn't
its crazy, giambi looked like he was DONE without roids after his first month back in 2005, and then put up some monster numbers when june or july rolled around.
-
barry bonds isnt worth the distraction that he will cause a team..it just isnt.
-
He can still hit, but a team would be taking a major risk by bringing him on right now. The steroid drama has been lurking, and now there are rumors of a Stan Conte book that would indict Bonds. He is up there in years, he could be trying to demand a lot of money, and most teams that feel they have a chance at contending probably want to see what their players can do before they go with such a bold move. As far as the other players, they seemed to be under contracts, or didn't have as much legal action going on. I expect a team that is slow out of the gates to take a chance with him if it's for a low price, especially if his legal troubles find a resolution. The Giants simply don't expect to contend, so it worked for them to let him go.
