I've pondered this question, this is an elite list for The Doctor. I've come up with these songs that Dre was not invovled in the production what so ever, but contributed a verse/hook.
"U Better Recognize" Produced by Sam
Sneed, hook done by Dre.
"Got Me Open" Produced by Bud'da, Dre has one verse.
"Puppet Master" Produced by Muggs, Dre does a verse.
"No Diggity" Produced by Teddy Riley, Dre has one verse.
"Ghetto Fabulous" Produced by Stu-B-Doo, Dre raps.
"The Message" Produced by Lord Finesse, Dre raps.
"Watch Me" Produced by Irv Gotti, Dre on hook.
"If I Get Locked Up Tonight" Produced by Rockwilder, Dre on hook.
IS THERE ANY MORE, IF THERE IS SOMEONE HELP ME OUT.

BlackStreet - No Diggity
-
SHIT, LOL, thanx a lot Overseer...I forgot bout that one. I'll add that. ;)
-
The Message on 2001, Lord Finnesse produced it.
-
Okay, I'm retarded.
Thanks homie.
-
shit i forgot that one
-
The fifrst thing I thought was "No Diggity"...Then I saw Overseers reply....Then I thought about "The Message" and I saw DPG's Reply....Shit!
Come to think of it, most songs Dre is on he produced, except for the few you listed..
-
There is 2 versions of U Better Recognize. One dre and sam co-produced, one Sam produced himself. Jakedogg has the dre/sam produced one, i have the same produced one. and I had the dre/sam one burnt on my dre bootleg, the dre one is better for sure.
I don't know if these count but tracks on dogg food dre is on respect and let's play house but me and trauma believe he produced those 2 tracks.i think there has to be more.peace-Tanjint
-
A y'all, I added that E A Ski song with Dre, "Dr. Dre & Mr. Ski". Did Ski handle the production himself? I think he did, someone help me out to make sure.
-
They co-produced it, cuz i remember in an interview with ski he was saying how he learned so much from watching dre do his thing behind the boards on that track
-
Oh aight Loc, thanks for the info homie.
-
it sux dat stu-b-doo only does porno soundtracks now or whatever cuz that ghetto fabulous beat iz awesome.. and even tho i aint into to stealing pac's lyrics and shit from another song the remix of that song wit pac on it is so phat, way better than mack 10's verses at least..
-
Hello, w/ Cube and Ren. He done got one verse...
Some shit on "2001" produced by Mel-Man. Maybe Fuck You...
Was California Love produced by Suge?

Hello, w/ Cube and Ren. He done got one verse...
Dre produced it - right? - so no
Some shit on "2001" produced by Mel-Man. Maybe Fuck You...
On 2001 'The Message' wasn't produced by Dre.
Was California Love produced by Suge?
Hahaha Suge producing... right kid.. whatever.
-
Suge produced like three albums, and exec produced most other ones early DRR. The fact he sucked ain't the point. He co-produced The Roach, High Powered and Gin 'N Juice(though on the latter, it was basically him mastering the sound and checking the drum programming).
Mel-Man produced just under half of the tracks that were done in-house on 2001. The Message was produced by Lord Finesse, as pointed out in the liner notes.
Dre didn't do Hello-Don't say he did in the liner notes of Peacem, so he didn't.
Owen "Sheriff" Edwards
-
hmmz dre did produce hello with mel man
fuck you is a classic dre beat and if n e 1 did more on that track it would b dre not mel man
suge doesn't produce, he may have is name in the credits, but his name up on a record cos he pays for the tracks 2 b recorded.
-
THat One song that Dre and LL Cool J did for the Bulworth Soundtrack. Did Dre Produce that?
-
yes, zoom was a old dre and snoop song, look it up on napster, not the ll cool j version
-
Fuck You is a Mel-Man beat, by all accounts, busta.
Hello was Dre "exec"-ing for Mel-Man, so, ya, they did that shit.
Suge did produce, but only when he like fuckin' cheap. If you check out a just post-DRR interview wuith Dre, he mentions that Suge did a bit fo the shit they dropped.
Dill F.

Yo! I found a song Dre had one verse on but didn't produce..."Got Me Open". It's that Hands On song produced by Bud'da off "The Aftermath". Dre isn't credited for his verse, but he has one for about a minute. I'll add this one.
-
Hahaha Suge producing... right kid.. whatever.
When it says "Produced by: Myrion Suge" on the "TG4R" album, duz that mean the Suge produced it, cuz I know his first name is Myrion or Maryon, so does Suge produce?
-
Suge HAS Produced Some Stuff Before. He Just Sucks. I Think His Main Input In Production Was Telling People What He Thought Sounded Good.
-
haha suge aint produced shit!!!!
Dr. Dre produced "Hello" co-produced by Mel Man
California Love by Dre
Suge executive PRODUCES WHICH MEANS that he overlooks the albums SOUND and makes sure its BANGIN it doesnt mean he creates the SONGS!!!!!!!!!!
-
I think we've already pointed that out, so leave it, there's a good chap...
Suge produced the beat for High Powered, and mastered "Doggystyle"(latter according to former DRInmate CatzI).
CatzI said that after getting major beef with Suge. He also did some other shit.
-
didn't dre produce no diggity?
-T
-
Bottom Line.....
if Dre has somethign to do with it....lol
even if it don't exist...lol
CLASSIC.

Symphony In X Major Dre did rapped.. wasnt that a Rick Rock production?
-
Symphony In X Major Dre did rapped.. wasnt that a Rick Rock production?
It's a Rick Rock production mixed by Dre.
At one point I thought every track that Dre was on was produce or co-produce by him.
-
didn't dre produce no diggity?
-T
no he dsint
-
LOL at people sayin Suge produced. Whenever you see Suge's name on somethin as Exexutive Producer that means he was in charge of the recording budget for the album. Suge wasn't in the studio twistin any knobs or playin any instruments.
-
Knoc-Turn'al Feat. Dr. Dre, Slip Capone, Timebomb - Doin' The Most/When It All Comes Down To It (have seen it listed as both). Dre drops a verse on here (a knoc song that appeared on the bootlegg version of knoc's landin, never released by knoc officially), and the song is produced by battlecat (according the the vault here on dubcnn).
-
Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg - On the Blvd (Produced by Jelly Roll)
Bad Intentions (Produce by Mahogany)
peace

Interesting, I have admired Dr. Dre ever since he got out of the gangsta rapper life. He is a very talented producer IMO.
-
I don't believe that Dre didn't at least mix or have some influence on the production of every one of those joints.
-
i lost respect for dre. he stole hella beats from like the 60's and 70's and doesnt even mention the other artists name. he hella luck no body smacked his kufi yet. sikotic get to work
-
Damn, this thread is ancient.
didn't dre produce no diggity?
-T
I'm pretty sure it's Teddy Riley
-
i thought that was the whole point in dre's involvement with the album was him producing that song? why did they have dre of all rappers drop a random verse?
-T
-
Suge produced the beat for High Powered
Where did you hear this from?
-
Dre rapped on the Battlecat version of Just Dippin
-
that on the boulevard song off the wash soundtrack was produced by jelly roll

Do you even know what mastering is? Do you have any idea how complicated and technical that process is? People go to school for years to learn that stuff, then apprentice and even then the best have a natural talent for it. It's an art, not some button you press or something.
Suge didn't do anything artistic, he handled all business matters.

Hey, I heard 6 years ago that the sky is blue!
Captain Obvious, here to save the day!
-
BlackStreet - No Diggity
who produced it then?
-
Busta ft Dr. Dre - "look who" (produced by clinton sparks) on the chorus
The Game - "the Documentary" (produced by Jeff baskar) one line " you gotta do those calvin broadus numbers"
Dr Dre ft The Game "Here we go agin" (didnt someone say it was produced by focus)
Truth Hurts ft Dr Dre - Hollywood (produced by Hi-tek i think)
Knocturnal ft Dre and missy - the knoc (didnt someone say this was produced by someone else)
-
i wouldn't count dre's vocals on 'the documentary' track as a feature. also, where can i get 'here we go again'?

the knoc was produced by Producers Coalition of America, Inc./ Wallace Sibley Jr. for Squarecircle Ltd. & Dr. Dre (according to the l.a. confidential presents: knoc-turn'al book).

It's on the "Training Day" soundtrack, and it IS produced by Dre...
-

Dre only...Dre & Quik just both rap on it, but I'm pretty sure you heard it, shit was all over the radio when it first came out...
-
^^Yeah...that song was a radio hit, but I don't think it was as good as any of us wanted it to be. It was a solid track, but for L.A's two favorite rap/producers in West Coast history to collab on a track, we wanted it to be amazing.
-
what year was that?

I like it...Not mind-blowing, but it's a memorable track, especially since they tried to create a catchy commercial track and still made it sound smooth.
-

2001 man, I'm surprised you don't know about this...
-
produced by dre or dre and quik? and they both rap on it? anyone else involved in the track?

I believe it was written by Knoc-Turn'al.
