Anyone else remember this song from not too long ago? I usually bump this track from time to time. I feel this was one of the dopest sleeper hits from a few years ago, where it didn't blow up that much but radio stations gave it spins & all that from time to time. Goldie Loc & Snoop were a dope team a few years back, with this song, "Back Up Ho", & a few others.
Here it is in case you don't have it or don't remember it:

The west coast remix with E-40, Master P, Daz, Snoop and Slikk was on that Bad Boyz Poppin Collars compilation. That had the Laker colors on it during their championship run. The remix actually got more play then the original but I like the original better. But the remix was cool because it was the first time in a while Daz n Snoop were on a track together. Sick ass beat from Soopa.

I remember bumpin this shit back in 2001. A good track.

+1 for bringing that song back in my rotation. 8) ;D I could do without the rest of that album, it was weak compared to some of his other albums but that song is the shit.

I definitely remember playin this track a lot. I think 2001 was the last dope year the West had, but most of it went unnoticed outside the West. 2000 was pretty good too, especially with 2001 being in nationwide rotation...but more albums and songs came out in 2001.

^Yeah I agree. 2002 was when the momentum died down. 2000 was dope, especially with Snoop & Tha Eastsidaz droppin, plus DJ Quik, Mausberg (RIP), Mack 10, Ice Cube, Xzibit, etc. dropping around the same time & then 2001 was its' peak with Eastsidaz again, Warren G, Soopafly, Mack 10 again, AMG, etc. 8)

I used to bump this song too... also Power played it a lot back then.
I could have done without Sillk's verse... he's always been on the bottom of my list.
-
Yeah this is a tight track
Here's part II with Master P, Daz Dillenger, Snoop Dogg, Tray Deee, WC, E-40 & Silkk Tha Shocker

I feel you on Sillk, I could never get into his offbeat flow. I thought he almost ruined "Gangsta Ride" when he replaced Daz on that track
