Jermaine you are way way off with some of these

You're mixing up covers with samples

i cant swim - aqua by bootsy collins
snoop dogg - double dutch bus i think by g.clinton
whats my name - atomic dogg by g.clinton
lets roll - billie jean m.j
nuthin but a g thanx - i wanna do something freaky

All sampled from older songs - none of them covered

Doggz gonna get ya from loves gonna get ya - could be called a cover snoop changed a lot of lyrics

True That Yo! (man this Minnesota folks are annoying)

Anyways, most westcoast songs are sampled mainly from old funk and old school classics. Lets see, here's some samples used on 2Pac's All Eyez On Me (these are just the credited ones.)

How Do You Want It - Body Heat by Quincy Jones
No More Pain - Bring the Pain by Method Man
Life Goes On - Brandy(Your So Fine Girl) by the O'Jays
Thug Passion - Computar Love by Roger Troutman

need I go on

Hell George Clinton's Funkadelic classic Knee Drop has been sampled by Dre 3 times,
Dre Day, How Am I (What's My Name) by SnoopDoggyDogg and Can't C Me by 2Pac. Ain't nothing wrong with sampling, it's when you don't sample that gets producers major props, like Dre on Chronic 2001. Ya know, and when you have your song sound exactly like the original, like Puff Daddy, opps I mean P Diddy, then you get clowned. Though I ain't hating P Diddy, 'cause Ready to Die was tight in producion, expecially for a Eastcoast album of that era, when most Eastcoast music didn't sound good unless it was produced by either Primo or RZA.
