Title: Question for Soopafly next time he reads this or next time Nima interviews him
Post by: Soopafly DPGC on April 09, 2008, 07:24:47 AM
I've always wanted to know this....back in the day when the Death Row Inside Out compilation was scheduled to be released, there was a tentative tracklisting released.  There was a Soopafly solo song called "50 Sac".  I would like to know if this song really ever existed, or if it was renamed to something else, or was it even a real song?  It would have been before Daz released his version of Dat Woopty Woop and that song wasn't on there, so I am doubting the song is real because i'm sure Daz would have included it on the CD unless he didn't get a chance to steal that master when he was raiding the Death Row offices.  But then I think that this is around the time Death Row was beginning to push for the Soopafly solo CD and he was an intricate part of Tha Row at that time, so it seems to make sense that he would have had a song on that compilation if it ever would have got released.  So if either Soopafly or Nima could clear up the rumors of this song, i'd appreciate it.  Thanks.

I never remember reading that being an album name, just a song name.  In that Soopafly interview Dubcnn did a bunch of years ago, someone asked Soopa if the album Daz released was his Death Row album.  And he said it was pretty much give or take a few songs.  I imagine the couple songs that weren't on it were Pimp Strut and Who's World Is It.  But I was thinking "50 Sac" may have been the other one.

a few years back daz said that he wants to release another soopafly album or EP that was recorded while on death row called "50sac". but it never happend.
