Tarence Kinsey was rookie of the month in April of 2007, averaging 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.2 steals over the final 13 games of his rookie season. Looked like a very promising player with a bright future for the Grizzlies... In Kinsey's sophomore season, Memphis decided that Kinsey somehow doesn't deserve playing time (averaging 8 minutes a game in 11 games, with his highest minute total being 14 minutes). After 11 games, Memphis decides to waive him due to the flux of young guards in their rotation. Strange shit. Even stranger, no team has given him a look since... The guy was waived at the age of 23.
Gerald Green was projected a lottery pick out of high school in the 2005 draft. Some had him going no later than the 5th pick. Slipping all the way to pick 18 (he only worked out for teams 1-10, since he didn't think he'd go past the 10th pick), Boston picked him as the best player available. After his succesful sophomore season (averaged nearly 17 points in 26 starts at the ripe age of 20-21), Boston sends him as part of the centerpiece in a trade for Kevin Garnett. During his stint with Minnesota, the team decides he's not worthy of playing time, even in a lost season and end up trading him for Kirk Snyder. He proclaims that his dream came true- to play for his hometown Houston Rockets...only his dream was cut short, with the Rockets waiving him after playing a total of 3 minutes with the team! He won the dunk contest and defended his title just this season. He's 22 years old with no college experience.
Why is no one giving these cats a chance? ???

Its probably somethin deeper than we know. They might have huge egos, bad work ethic, etc. Well Kinsey still has a chance but I'm officially convinced that there's somethin gon on with Gerald Green.

I dont know about Kinsey but I know exactly what the case is for Green. It has been reported that in addition to missing a finger, he is also missing a few toes and David Stern is lactose (lack toes) intolerant.

Whenever something happens that looks weird to outsiders, there usually are some reasons for it. Not always the right reasons, but still reasons. I'm sure there are reasons for those cases.

gereld green has crazy pontential and despite what the so called experts say he is quite good on the defensive end as well. his a 6'8 shooting guard with crazy athletism and there should always be a place for players like that in the nba. all the guy needs is a solid 30 minutes a night to adjust and "learn" from the game. but no-one has gave him the chance yet "to learn". The thing about the nba is its a cutthroat business and if you dont prove your shit soon you mite not get another shot. I would love for the magic to pick him up and have him be our sixth man coming off the bench for instant offence.
