...NWA
IM TALKIN BOUT BACK IN THEIR DAY - WHEN IT WAS THE 5 OF EM. WHEN U REPLY THINK BACK AND ANSWER WITH WOT THEY WHERE THEN NOT NOW
SO DONT THINK BOUT -
DRE AT THA ROW
CUBE AFTER NWA
REN'S LACK OF SALES
EAZYS DEATH/RUTHLESS
OR YELLAS PORNO FLICKS!!
JUST THE BEST MEMBER WHEN NWA WERE AT THERE PEAK - LETS HOPE THIS IS AN INTRESTIN TOPIC (I CAN C ARGUEMENTS....ESPECIALLY IF WHORIDER OR LIL PESCI GOT INVOLVED LOL!!!)
-
Tough one. i think either Dre or Eazy.
Dre was the brains behind the group, he brought creativity and incredible production.
But Eazy was NWA, he personified their whole don't-give-a fuck attitude
-
I'd Say MC Ren, Because His Lyrics And Voice Just Killed It Whenever He Dropped On A Track.
Then Next Up I'd Say Dre, Because I Always Liked His Verses, Too
Then I'd Say Eazy, Because Of The Funny Stuff
Then I'd Say Cube, Because He Had Some Great Ones, But Most Of My Favorites Were On Efil4Zaggin, Which Of Course He Isn't On.
I Could Honestly (And I'm Just Being Honest) Give A Flip About Yella... Only Thing He Ever Did Was Mix It Acapella, You Get Me? LOL.. That's Like The Only Time I Ever Even Heard His Name, Hardly..
-
To be honest, when NWA first came out, I was a big Dre fan. The other members made Dre seem like the whole group. (After Cube left, NWA turned into Eazy ft. NWA though.) Also I'd say Dre, mainly because he produced NWA and the Posse by himself, and I didn't like Yella's remixes of Dopeman and 8 Ball on Straight Outta Compton. Plus I couldn't say Eazy, because Ren and Cube wrote all of his shit, and and the time, and NWA seemed pretty much divided among the rappers, but Dre was rapping and producing.
-
1. Dre....man behind the knobs and the group actually described as the "overseer" in some of the old NWA interviews
2. cube....man behind half of the lyrics and content
3. Eazy...the star of the group
4. MC ren...The back up MC and sometimes the Star MC
5. Dj yella ....nothin against him but just my least favorite
-
Heh u said Overseer ;D
-
huh-uh.. huh-uh... You kinda said "Over.... her"... huh huh..
-
right up until the chronic cube was the man in my opinion....
never liked eazy's voice much in the old days but ive grown to appreciate the man now...
-
Cube was my favorite member of the NWA up intil he started releasing all those darn movies. Dre is good but he is like the producer of the group. . Eazy I'm not really feeling like that. Ren is mad ill. Ren is better then cube these days.
-
I gotta say EAZY-E and MC REN for lyrics, they were so dirty and hardcore i love it
dre did some dope beats, yella too
cube also had dope lyrics
-
Arabian Prince all the way!!!.....
Naah I'm juss playin...If I had ta chose it would be...
1.Eazy E (Cuz he was a Real Mutthaphuckin G)
2.MC Ren (Dope Lyricist and Flow)
3.Dr Dre (Dope Producer)
4.Ice Cube (Wrote most the lyreics to "S.O.C"
5.DJ Yella (Yet anotha dope producer)
6.Arabian Prince (Did nothing but rap on 2 or 3 tracks, and left cuz he felt he was goin nowere)
84275409432057340.Jerry Heller (The cause of the break-up)
-
Damn dis is kinda hard
But
I would have to say Dre and MC Ren
because dre always dropped some tight verses and he was tha producer and mc ren cuz that way he raps
-
I KNEW THIS WUD B A TOUGH TOPIC, EVEN THO I POSTED IT I STILL CANT MAKE MY MIND UP!!
ITS PROBABLY GONNA B BETWEEN EAZY AND REN AT THE TIME COS EVERYTIME I HEAR REN ON 100 MILES AND RUNIN ITS ONE OF THEM TUNES THAT MAKES U FEEL LIKE U GOTTA GO OUT AND PISS PEOPLE OFF!! 8)
EAZY COS OF HIS VOICE AND WAY OF PORTRAYIN LIF BUT I AGREE WITH MDOGG BOUT EAZYS LYRICS BEIN WRITTEN BY REN AND CUBE - BUT HE DID WRITE MOST OF HIS LATER LYRICS
HOWEVER
TODAY ITS ALL DIFFERENT........
- DRE'S ON TOP OF HIS GAME
- CUBES GOOD BUT HE AINT SELLIN PLATINUM ALBUMS
- REN IS FAIRLY UNKNOWN (IE MAINSTREAM, IM NOT COMPLAININ THO - BUT ID LIKE 2 C HIM WORK WITH DRE ON HIS NEW ALBUM(IF HE IS ON A LABEL AT THE MOMENT, CAN N E 1 CONFIRM THAT???)
- YELLAS MAKIN PORNOS!!
- AND EAZY'S DEAD (RIP) AND RUTHLESS AINT RELEASIN SHIT.
PEACE
-
WELL ITS GUNNA HAVE TO BE DRE ;)
-
N E 1 KNOWS WHO OWNS THE RITES 2 100 MILES AND RUNIN EP?? - IE WHO CUD I EMAIL 2 C IF THEY HAVE N E COPIES LEFT (DISTRIBUTION LABEL 4 THA ALBUM??)
-
i'm going with cube.... cube can just freaking rap like hell.. his lyrics always brought it.. i think in the early days he really completed the group but when he left it was the never the same... but cube's death certificate album was phat as hell and the song "no vaseline" was a pretty well done diss song, ya know..

Your last chance to get "100 Miles and Runnin" is Ebay or a used CD Store (Probably not even there)...But you can get it on Ebay for a minimum of 25 bux...The price is going up bu the day and it's gettin rarer by the minute....
-
NIK, thanks 4 ur advice, ill try ebay cos im from the Uk and ive spoke 2 most used stores and they dont have n e copies (many had never even heard of it!!!)
peace
-
It's got to be D-R-E cause no matter what NWA song you played, Dre was invovled somehow either in the production or the rapping. You can't say that for Yella, Cube, Eazy & Ren now can ya.
-
we want eazy
-
i looked for ages
i got a brand new copy about a month ago from www.101cd.com - they're a UK company
-
i know we had this discussion overseer and i spoke 2 them and they sed u got the only copy they eva had or eva likely 2 c!!!
thanks n e way!
peace

I disagree with that, because MC Ren wrot allll the lyrics to "100 Miles and Runnin" and "Efile4Zaggin", plus he rapped....I think he put more effort in than Dre
-
Yeah, Ren Put In Some WORK On Those 2... He's A Dope Lyricist. I Think THe DOC Helped A Bit, Though, Plus Dre And Eazy Gave Ren Ideas To Write About. They Probably Gave Dre Ideas For Sounds Too, Though, So It Goes Both Ways.
-
Dre fuckin layed everything our for Eazy's first album, and he has a lot of credits for that too.
