What do y'all think about all the foreign supporters coming to the UK and watch football?
-
Doesn't bother me man. Since we signed Nakamura we have had a few Japanese over to see him.

I dont have a problem with them coming over to see games, the problem is when there not real supporters.
When i say real supporters i mean the type who go over take a load of photos, buy a top , go watch a game but dont do anything to actually support the team.
In other words sit there like a bit of a plum not contributing to the atmosphere and not actually supporting the team.
I cant blame them though, when i go abroad i try and catch a match of certain teams.

Trouble is, "fans" like that exist in England already. I know too many Liverpool fans from London who support them like following a brandname, but nearly all of them think they are too good to actually go to the city of Liverpool.

Yeah, thats true. i used to live near manchester but had to move away so i get tarnished with that brush but the difference is every week i make the effort to go and support the team.
If someone from abroad is willing to do the same then thats all good, but if they are to go they should actaually get behind the team. Otherwise its annoying as you think that seat could be taken by someone who really loves the club.
Thats not just people from abroad but anyone at the game, two seats down from where i sit there is a couple who have a season ticket but only turn up for the big games. Anyway the last one they were at was the liverpool game, probably the biggest game in uniteds domestic season. The woman just sat there without making a noise or any reaction during the game, when we scored everyone was going mental. I turned to my right to see her just sitting there, not clapping cheering or doing anything.
Im sure there are thousand of real fans who would have loved to have been at the game but couldnt because the seat is taken by someone like that.
