Title: Direct Tv and other dish networks vs Comcast Cable for HD TV's

I have direct tv and its perfect for my hdtv,    are there other providers that offer more channels in HD than Direct Tv?  My friend tells me Comcast has the most in HD but I dont believe that for one second, in fact I thought it was a fact that with  the best hd package in direct tv you have more channels in High definition then any other provider, is that right?   Pretty much every channel I have with my direct tv has a high definition channel for it as well, I cant imagine comcast cable providing for HD channels then Direct Tv.

My friend wants to leave Time Warner Cable to get DirectTV because it has more HD channels.  My guess is that DirectTV has the most lol

I know DirecTV has the most HD channels, but how does it work in bad weather?  Have those problems been fixed or can it still go out or distort your picture in rainy or windy weather?
