I think what makes Daz's beats real tight is the fact that he keeps that trademark west coat sound in alot of his songs. That sound you here in songs like Raw, Up In Smoke Beat, most of Doggystyle.

Daz can't see dre. Daz is good but Dre is legendary. Dre can produce westcoast, eastcoast, r&b, anything. Daz hasn't proved that to us yet.

Dre's beat sound perfect, Daz is cool but his shit don't sound too professional sometimes.

I like daz`s beats well, although there are sometimes a little simple beats from him.
But there is nothin above tha d.r.e. who started that g-funk thing and is simply a perfecter.

The only thing i`m sad about is that dre won`t or didn`t go back to his classic g-funk beats from his death row dayz, which we all love so much .

He straight moves forward and wants to try new shit which in my opinion isn`t as good as his past stuff but very high quality stuff as well.

Both have fallen off in recent years but I still got to go with Dre.  Dre is much more versatile in the type of beats he could make, Daz just sticks to that westcoast sound, which is dope also.

Just like you love Snoop, whereas I hate him ( like DOggy Dogg thou :)). Different storkes for different folks

Some may like Dres futuristic sound, whereas others might not. Others may like it but like Daz's Gangsta beats better.

If you cant accept that people have different tastes you are going to have a lot of trouble in teh world

As for my opinion, in terms of longivity & popularity, Dre own Daz, but for myself I rather wack on R.A.W. compared to 2001 anyday.

Thou i loved Dres old shit in NWA & Death Row better than most of Daz's work

i like daz, but sometimes his beats dont sound too good, dre's beats damn near all of them are bangin.

and in my opinion, you can tell how some of DAz's beats sound the same.....Dre is expanding and creating new sounds.....they are both top notch, but you can debate this till you are old..and D-R-E, will still be on top....

Call Me An Idiot If You Want, Engies, I Don't Give A Sh*t.  If Someone Thinks Daz's Beats Are Better Than Dre's, They're Fu*ked Up In The Head.  I Know All About Being Fair, That's Why I Don't Blast Your Wack Ass Whenever You Talk Bad About Snoop All The Time, To Each His Own.  But Daz Isn't Even On Dre's Playground.  Daz Makes VERY Dope Beats But To Compare Him To Dre Is Ridiculous.  I'd Compare Quik To Dre, And I'd Compare Premier To Dre.  Anyone Else There's No Contest (Or At Least That I've Heard...)

well people do have differnt ears and taste but im not gonna get into that, i think that dre's beats are better but daz can come up w/ some crazy beats every now and then, but dre comes with beats every time.....anyone have any clue what im saying or am i just up too late not kowing what im typingg well overall i think dre's beats are better and thats just my opinion

daz is a brilliant producer and always has been.....


but, to put it simply NO ONE can touch dre's beats in hip hop or any other music genre right now ....and in my opinion the only producer thats ever been on his level was Quincy Jones....

to compare daz to dre is highly flattering to Daz....and even more insulting to dre....

i love basically all of Daz's beats and Dre's too. i like how dre is tryin new things but i also LOVE how daz is keepin it gangsta, the way i see it is, "If it ain;t broke dont fix it!"
personaly i'd rather bump a Daz produced kurupt and daz beat than a dre produced snoop and dre song i think.
i got all of R.A.W. on my computer and its fuckin awesome beats
i wanna but that cd but it aint out here so i gotta burn it

Dre is probly better... but right now i can't stop listening to RR&GB,RAW,Dogg Food, and Streetz Is A Mutha... all of which have Daz beats, so i really can't say i don't think Daz is one of the best.

i think Dre needs to just stay with gangsta shit, fuck the futuristic shit he's trying... sure its tight, but i just like the Gangsta shit better...

cats_aka_engies is totally right... who is Trauma to say that someone is on crack just because they like daz more then Dre? yes most people say Dre but that doesnt matter... i like the classic west coast sound that Daz STILL puts in his beats rather then Dre's new sound... it's just my opinion and Trauma shouldnt be sitting back and saying shit like he's sayin... it's just straight up immature. but whatever cause im not into beefing over the internet... just giving my opinion. That coastin beat is as good or better than any of Dre's recent beats.  It's got that futuristic type sound but it's also keeping it westcoast.  If that's any indication of what the DPG album will be like it should be a real banger.
