I just recently got hooked on this show and wow it has been amazing! Please no spoilers for the upcoming seasons, but I want to know how amazing will the following seasons be? What has been the strongest season?

the second didnt really have my interest as the other seasons. after like 8 episodes i fuckin had it with that harbor and those fucking polacks. but to say the second season is worst.. nah. this can also be said about whats the best season.

How amazing will the other seasons be? That's an easy one, bro. Just sit back in your couch and enjoy the ride. I've seen Season 1/2/3 and 4 and all of them are top-notch. That's what I like about The Wire. When you go out to the store to buy the DVD, you just KNOW you'll get your money's worth. Whereas with watching other series, you don't always have that guarantee.

It's a great fuckin' show.
The strongest season is probably season 4. Season five seems to drag a little for the first few episodes. The final two episodes are fuckin' great though.
I'm really gonna miss this series.
The greatest series ever, as far as I'm concerned.

Season 2: 8.0 of 10
Season 3: 9.5 of 10
Season 4: Just started watching, The Wire seasons always start slow, but it's looking very promising.

been watching this show since day one. fuckin classic shit.
season 1 towers - 9.5/10
season 2 harbor - 8.5/10
season 3 streets/politics - 9/10
season 4 education and the kids.... 10/10 TV simply does not get better than this. Nothing i've ever seen even comes close to this before.
season 5 media - 9.5/10

of course the wire is good. whats so special about a white mafia organization. its easy for white (italians, irish etc) people to have those organizations.

One of my favourite shows, 1 & 3 are my favourite seasons so far. Haven't seen 4/5 yet.

brilliant show...every season is seamless and builds upon the last so its very hard to compare seasons to eachother - however there are definitely no weak spots as such. i couldn't believe how deep season 4 got when i was watching that...probably didn't enjoy season 5 quite as much just cause of season 4 being so good. amazing show from beginning to end though...
