I know Ren was supposed to be on Bang Bang
Yeah, Dre should've included "Xxplosive Pt.II" (The Way I Be Pimpin) on "2001", or maybe include one of his verses on the original song.

Yer I always felt that way too. It is a Dre solo album after all.

I believe that there was an unreleased song with DMX, but I can't remember the name.
-
If I remember correctly from another thread like this (which I will try to find and post a link), there were some songs with Punchline, Wordsworth, The Last Emperor, RBX...that didn't make the cut

I believe that there was an unreleased song with DMX, but I can't remember the name.
there was a track called "Doggz 4 Life" which was listed as Snoop and DMX, it was in the fat tape section of the Source in early '99 but It could have been RBX and Snoop instead, maybe an error on the Source's part

Didnt "The Watcher part2 feat. Hittman and Truth Hurts (on hook only)" turn up on Jay-Z's album?.

Jay-Z feat. Dr. Dre, Rakim & Truth Hurts... I don't remember if Hittman's part was included on this on (but it definately appeared on Snoop's version on DJ Jam's mixtape)...Obviously made long after The Chronic...
-
Did anyone mention 'The Throne Is Mine' yet? I think it was called that - it had a beat that didn't end up on 2001 and it had Royce doing all the vocals, but they were guide vocals for Dre to learn from, as it had Royce referring to himself as Dre

Chronic 2001 leftovers that were released ( officially ):
Buck Em, Bitch Please and Just Dippin came out on Snoop's "No Limit Top Dogg" in May of '99, serving as a preview of sorts to Dre's album. Keep in mind, these were recorded during 2001 sessions.
Bad Guys Always Die was released in June of '99 on the Wild Wild West Soundtrack. Also recorded during 2001 sessions, and served as a B-side to "The Next Episode" on some promo only copies.
Chin Check was recorded during 2001 sessions in mid '99, but held over until The Next Friday Soundtrack.
Hello was an old Dr. Dre solo joint, before being reworked and used for Cube's War & Peace 2 album in March of 2000.
Remember Me was held over until the Marshall Mathers LP, because Em requested it go on his album instead.
Nasty Mind was remixed from an old 2001 leftover, used by D12 on their Devils Night album.
As far as joints that leaked or weren't released...
Royce's "The Throne Is Mine" and "Stay In Your Place" were potential 2001 tracks. Dre's solo "My Life" was an early 2001 session song, as was "The Way I Be Pimpin." And then there's alternate versions of "Forgot About Dre" and "What's The Difference" that have surfaced, but the "Bang Bang" version with MC Ren's verse never leaked to my knowledge. I've also read that Snoop had a verse on "Light Speed", but it was cut.

Buck Em is on No Limit Top Dogg and Remember Me is on Marshall Mathers LP is what he's saying.

Dre could have had a whole other album with these leftovers mentioned
Remember Me is my favorite one 8)
