D&YG >>>> 2002 by farrr
-
D&YG is a west coast classic, Daz has not been the same production wise since Mike Dean left the scene. "2002" had some classic unreleased tracks like "Smoke" and "Every Single Day" but I think some of the remixes were subpar and they also advertised a Dre remix of "Just Doggin" which obvioulsy was not Dre ::)

voted: Dillinger & Young Gotti
"2002" was great too though, but it had some songs that appeared on other albums etc..
-
2002 was a much more complete release to me.
I only liked maybe 5 songs on D&YG, and it doesn't have much replay value for me, as 2002 does.
there's too many classics on 2002, IMO. 8)

tough choice
2002 has better lyrics but feels like a bunch of tracks put together
Dillinger & Young Gotti feels more like a real album and Kurupts uses his agressive delivery and flow 8)

Dillinger & Young Gotti
Had was nice.

I gotta go with that Dillinger & Young Gotti. When that shit dropped it was straight fire and it has been ever since. 2002 is a nice cd and has some good cuts I still bang, but overall it just isn't as solid.
-
It's pretty simple for me. 2002 is a great compilation of unreleased DPG songs. D&YG is a great and cohesive album. Musically one of my favorite albums of all time.
-
yep, D&YG has some classic songs....2002 feels more like a buch of unreleased tracks...Daz should work with Mike Dean again, I think the 2 have excellent chemistry....
-
I love 2002, it's a classic.
But it's Dillinger & Young Gotti hands down. There's Someway Out is one of my all time favs.
I wish Mike Dean would work with them more .
