As in New West Coast producers who have been on mixtapes/albums for the past few years that you have been feelin' lately? And your favorite tracks produced by them?
I've just been wondering about peoples' tastes here on the forum.
Here are my favorites:
Dae One (Butch "All I See", Taje "Misunderstood", "Houseshoes", Chevy Jones "How Come", PR1ME "Now Here We Are")
Amplified (Mykestro "Str8 Up Iz", "California Love")
"Jedi" Jared Moore (Butch Cassidy "Swagger", Young De "Patron", Fresh "Fresh")
Rome (Omar Cruz "Vatos Locos", "The Gully Is Back", everything off of "Welcome to Rome")
C.Ballin (Young Rook "The Customers", "C U At The Top", "Out Of Control")
Terrace Martin (Bloc Boyz "South Central", Snoop "Neva Have 2 Worry", & everything from "Signal Flow") <<<---it's debatable to say whether or not he's exactly "new" since he's been around for a while but I'm including him anyway)

^Yeah I hate when they don't say who produced what, but it's all good.
And Khalil is a dope new producer too, I knew I would forget some. He is definitely underrated, even doing beats for Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Jim Jones, etc. and for Detox if I'm not mistaken.
-
yeah not a fan of slow traccs but every now and then they good to listen to and that tracc is dope as fuck!
i think dj khalil is one of the truest and dopest!

^Yeah some of Hi-Tek's beats can sound hella "West" like Game's "1-800-Homicide", "Runnin", "Old English", 213's "Twist Your Body", etc. I don't know if it's entirely true, but I guess the Mid west counts as part of the WEST, just not the WEST COAST. Just my opinion.

yeah hi tek is dope as fuck
again not into the slower traccs but if they come thru ill fucc wit it
like that 1800 homicide tracc is nice, where it all started,
on the subject was that 1800 homicide tracc ever released as a longer version?
cuz all i can find is the short version wit game spittin once
i dont think the midwest is part of us, jus me tho!

^I think the only version that exists is the short version from Hi-Tek's H-Teknology 2 album. And it's interesting how Game ended up reusing some of the lyrics on the Doctor's Advocate.

Beam has beats on all of those (besides Redd) and he is currently doing a GANG of work with Tash 8)

it's a little hard to list pure "new west" producers, but to name a few:
- Tek ( not Hi-Tek)
- EP
- Terrace Martin
-
I forgot about someone in my previous post:
THX --> Dude's beats always sound monstrous. "My Heart Bleedz", that California-anthem by Toussaint ft. S-Mak is crazy.
-
Jim Gettum [the beats he's done for Crooked I are unfuckwitable!]
Komplex [his remix of Game's "Big Dreams" is dope as fuck and I like what he's doing with Big Syke]
