I wanted to know what y'all would think about me doin a mixshow, probably 50-65 minutes a piece, and posting it/sending it to DubCNN or DubCC weekly. I would have a different focus every week, each being based on the West Coast...here's some examples/ideas of what I'd do on different weeks:
-Flashbacks from different decades and eras (80's
-Mixes based on affiliations (NWA, DPG, Sic Wid it, DJ Quik + crew)
-Collaborations w/ other coasts
-West Coast R&B/Rap (TQ, Nate, J. Valentine)
-Mixes based on artists from specific cities (Compton, Oakland, San Francisco, Long Beach, etc)
-New artists on the come up
-Posse cuts
-Song topic themes (One mix based on sex tracks, one with more emotional or deep songs,
-Diss tracks
-Unreleased tracks
-Slept on tracks (album cuts, remixes, soundtrack songs)
-Forgotten about singles
-Underground/lyrical sound
-Club mix (based on decades, regions, etc)
-"Sounds like West Coast" mix...would have songs like "Da B side" and "Ain't no future in ya frontin" that sound like West Coast songs, but were from artists of different regions and were usually produced by West Coast producers
-All remixes (R&B artists, major single remixes, clique remixes)
-Artist focus (would feature one artist and different songs he did, such as his first appearance, major songs, album cuts, remixes, etc. etc.)
I could definitely add more, and I could re-use those same themes. I would probably pre-record them all so that I never get behind. If the staff wanted to, they could even incorporate interviews with the mixes, or even have shoutouts from the members on it.
What do you all think about that?

Me too. I like those ideas you got, R-Tistic. Even though I probably will have heard the majority of the songs you'll play, I'd still download it. Nothing better than having a good mix to listen to.
One thing though, when you get the okay from Dubcnn (I hope you do), drop the weekly mixes in 192 kbps (or even better quality) ;)
