Washington Wizards forward Darius Songaila has received a one game suspension without pay for striking Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James in the face with his hand, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred with 3:20 remaining in the first period of Washington’s 88-87 win over the Cavaliers on Wednesday, April 30 at Quicken Loans Arena.
Songaila will serve the suspension tonight when the Wizards host Cleveland in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference First Round.
Lol I saw that coming. I guess he deserved it tho.

I guess Wash wasn't short handed enough..

he def deserved it

im a little shocked that it took this long for anyone to get suspended in the postseason thus far. shit has been a bit too brutal for the current watered-down pussy league. songalia does deserve the suspension though. and the fact that it was lebron who he smacked isnt gonna help his case.

saw this coming, infact i'm surprised he wasn't ejected from the game
