Ima do that too, but i wanted to get people who know his shit better give me some recommendations. Like what to pick up and what not to pick up. im low on hard drive space here hah.

man thats the worst messy marv suggestion list ever. If you want the real Messy Marv, you need Messy Situations, Explosive Mode, Turf Politics (my personal favorite), Disobayish, Death On A Bitch and Still Explosive. Everything else is leftover tracks that he sold off to somebody else who then got distro deals, or shitty compilations with half ass tracks from mostly no names and a few bigger names he knows.

That's not true. "Bandannas Tattoos & Tongue Rings" is his best solo album to date. The 2 San Quinn collabos are dope also, as well as Bullys Wit Fullys 3, which is a dope 2006 bay record. And he released an album in 2006 called Messcalen - Gettin That Guac which has dope beats on it.

I forgot about BT&T. Its solid but faaaarrr from his best. As far as the San Quinn collabs, I listed Explosive Mode already. Explosive Mode 2 was ok but it seemed rushed, same with Explosive Mode 3. Gettin That guac was not an official Messy Marv album, its throw aways. Official Messy marv albums are released on Scalen Records. Anything else is leftovers and throw aways or a compilation (except maybe Messy Situations, I think that originally came out on Get Low Records). And finally that Bullys Wit Fullys is good for a song or two but overall its pretty garbage. I love Messy Marv when he's on, but he releases a lot of bullshit sometimes. So anyway, yeah thats the best advice I can give on Mess, just buy the shit that came out on Scalen and you'll be straight. Nothing on Scalen has been anything close to a bad album.
