Title: What's Chad Hugo role on the neptunes ?

Pharrell williams is always on the spotlight (partys,concerts....)
but the other half of the neptunes still on the dark.
Pharrell is only the showman/hook singer of the neptunes and Chad the beatmaker ? ? ? ?
Could be....
What's your thoughts ?

Don't both of these guys make up the Neptunes?  And isn't there a third non-official member of the production group?

I think Chad is the one with the skills behind the boards....
Pharrell seems only for the stages and hooks.

Pharrell & Chad = producers
Pharrell = singer
Shay = singer/mc

due to his guest appearances pharrell gets the most attention. btw, shay is the guy on the cover of the N*E*R*D album...

yea, I always wondered myself.
Pharell is in about 359 videos, and at every show, and on everybodys albums.
He can't have time to produce anything..

Believe it or not, Pharrell and Chad do just about an equal amount of work, but Chad prefers to lay low.

let's face it, chad lacks of charisma and pharrell does not and that's why he shows up in all the videos

I read in a magazine a while back and Pharrel said Chad is the one behind the melodies and he puts the drums to it.

you are absolutely right..  pharrell and chad put in the same work.. its just that chad does not like the camera or the spotlight at all!!
