Trevore Ariza About Ready To Return (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2008/news/story?id=3394891)
Associated Press

Lakers F Trevor Ariza, who hasn't played since breaking his right foot in practice Jan. 20, was cleared Tuesday to practice with no restrictions. "The bone is not completely healed, but it's healed as much as it's going to heal," team spokesman John Black said, adding the chances of Ariza breaking the same bone again are remote. Jackson said no timetable has been set on when Ariza might play in a game. "We'll just see what he can do. Vlade's not played well in the last two games," Jackson said, referring to Vladimir Radmanovic, the Lakers' starting small forward. "[Ariza] plays that position. We'll see if Vlade can't right his game here."
Yes! We really need him to start for us, with the way VladRad's been playing..

hell yes!!
-
He's cleared to practice. Phil says it'll be about a week or 2 before he actually plays.
-
awesome news, he'll be a huge asset in coming games , and if/when new orleans beats san antonio that'll help as well.

Doesn't quiet sound like he's back yet. :-\

^ I'll take this as good new though... not to get ahead of ourselves, but should we find ourselves in the finals, there is a good chance he can be there for us.
-
praise the lord, i'm just happy that he could still come back period. we sure could use him in THIS series, but if he's back for the hornets/spurs then he could still make a huge impact.
radman has slowly been fading into oblivion, and ariza needs to show walton how to finish without getting stuffed by a 6'1 point guard

Kupchak was just on the radio saying he could play as soon as Friday.

Bynum was never cleared to practice, let alone for contact drills...Ariza has been practicing without contact for these past two weeks, but was cleared for contact drills just yesterday.

Ariza Looks 'Better' In Practice (http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-lakers16-2008may16,0,6980257,print.story)
Jackson said that forward Trevor Ariza, who has not played since Jan. 20, looked active in practice today.
This was Ariza's second day of practice since he was cleared by doctors after suffering a broken bone in his right foot.
"He looked like he's much more comfortable than he did Tuesday," Jackson said of Ariza. "We're just going a day at a time with this."
Jackson would not specify if Ariza would play Friday.
The two Lakers on the active list who did not play in Game 5 were center Chris Mihm and forward Ira Newble

another lethal weapon that'll fuck up the spurs.
-
We will need him in SA .. I'm sure the refs won't let Sasha play agressive on Ginobili as he did in LA .. he's long and quick enough to bother TP too
