As for the question, if alcohol and gambling is poisin, then so is rap music, coz the music represents these cultures, in songs and videos.
As for our minds being polluted, I think all this antigay shit is more a pollutant than a purifier. It could be judged as incitement of hatred, and another form of racism. Man, I still use the fag word and shit, but I still respect them as people no matter what they get up to between the sheets

There's a little more to hip-hop music then promoting alchohol and gambling, it's art, it's expression, it's a blessing, and it saved a generation of lost and destitute communties decimated by the Cross Bronx Expressway, and has spread to the world over and captured the minds of disenfranchised youth, or anybody old and young for that matter. Is hip-hop poison? Fuck no. As long as it's real and from the heart, you can't front on it.
