Title: Will the fix be in tonight ?
Post by: herpes on May 20, 2008, 04:59:19 PM
They gotta give it to the Knicks.  Stern knows how important the Knicks being good is to the NBA.  And I'm not just saying that b/c I am from NY or I am a Knicks fan.  I am actually a Bulls fan.

***edit*** the last one should say get the first pic in the draft not a first round pick

I voted "No Isiah has cursed the team for years to come"

Wow the Knicks can't even catch a break.  Not only did they not get the first or 2nd pic but they moved down 1 slot to number 6 lmfao.  At least my Bulls are in the top 3

Jay Z didn't look too thrilled with that #10 spot... at least to me.

At least if the Blazers can't get Rose or Beasley they will be going to the East.

Trail Blazers are on my radar as teams to watch out for. Those guys play do-or-die at home.... at least when it's the Lakers they are playing... lol

Young teams almost always play much better at home. I think that you are right in keeping them on your radar though. I can say with 100% confidence that we will not be in the lottery for the next 10 years at least. Not only will we be adding the #13 pick (Karl Malone was a #13 pick, Drexler was a #14 pick, etc), but Oden is healthy and we also drafted the MVP of the Euro league in Rudy Fernandez who has committed to coming over to Portland next year. We're gonna be a force in the league very soon.

Bulls got #1!!!!   Wow didn't they have a 1.7% chance of winning lol,  and the NBA rigs the draft again lol.  NBA is so crooked and corrupt its absurd.

Yeah I agree that NY would be higher but seriousley how did Chicago win w/ a 1 % chance,  I just dont think they got that lucky.

Because 1% is a hell of a lot bigger than 0%. Shit Portland almost won it again. 3 of the first three numbers they drew belonged to Portland. If the last number they drew matched then we woulda been #1 again and we only had a .6 chance. then there would REALLY be some conspiracy theorists comin out the woodwork. Chicago got lucky. Big deal. Theyre still gonna suck no matter who they pick! lol

^I dunno about that.

PG Kirk Hinrich...Chris Duhon/Jameson Curry
SG Ben Gordon...Larry Hughes/Thabo Sefolosha
SF Luol Deng...Andres Nocioni/Demetris Nichols
PF Michael Beasley...Tyrus Thomas/Drew Gooden
C Joakim Noah...Aaron Gray/Cedric Simmons

If this team can stay healthy, they'll be a force in the east.

IF they can stay healthy and IF they can get a decent coach. Chances are, one of those things wont happen. Plus Duhon and Gordon are likely gone if you believe the rumors

^I'm just saying...it's not like they don't have much to work with. they're definitely not a lost cause. far from it, as a matter of fact.

^^True, let's also not forget that this core was a playoff team last year..Adding either Beasley or Rose will obviously help, and paired with all the young talent, they should be a playoff team, but they should have been one this year. Then again, if they don't have a decent coach and they continue to play undisciplined and selfish, they will be the same as this season.

^They better hope they don't end up with Avery...that's the only way the disciplinary factor can get worse than Skiles. LOL.

So what? Can't I just hate on em cause I wanted the first pick and we were one ping pong ball away from it? LOL ROSE AND BEASLEY ARE BUSTS!!!
