He was never that great a sampler, most of the time he didnt make that many adjustments to the original compared to producers like Primo. I did like his soulful sound and it featured on some classic albums like Be, The Fix etc but i guess he was limitted with that style. By branching out into more electronic stuff hes expanding his range.

Most of the hot beats from Graduation were co-produced by DJ Toomp but im sure Kanye has the ability to produce it by himself in the future. He may even revert back to the soul sound, who knows...

Yeah, me too. I also like his new style like on "Flashing Lights", "Stronger" and so one, but songs like "Jesus Walks", "Spaceship" and "Heart Of The City" were on another planet IMO

Yeah I can't stand Kanye's new sound.  His samples are too blatant.  His soulful shit was dope.
