Produced by Daz.

yea, Daz produced the original version. Dr. Dre never produced any version of Just Doggin.

on the 2002 DPG compilation, Suge advertised the new version as produced by Dre to promote it, but Cold187um really produced it.

off the Sunset park soundtrack. Great song indeed. and great soundtrack. it has Junior Mafia, Alliyah, Tupac, Wu Tang, DPG, Mobb Deep, etc... I used to listen to it a lot. I still remember the day my cousin coped this soundtrack. he asked me what cds he should buy and I told him to buy the sunset park and another soundtrack (I think it was nutty professor but I'm not sure). ah memories. damn I'm gettin old.

The vocals are recycled by Death Row. There's some low quality version without Kurupt with just Nate and Daz out there. The other version also has some wack ass different beat.

If my memory serves me correctly, this is a leftover from Above The Rim.  I think the song is in the movie, but not the soundtrack.

Btw The Mobb Deep song from Sunset Park "Back At You" has the same bassline as Xxplosive (originally from Isaac Hayes?)

I remember when I first heard Xxplosive I was dissapointed because of that lol.

Yep the song is from the early 93-94 DR days.

yea, when I first got this CD, I wasn't really educated on the DPG/Death Row shit, so I did some research and found out Suge just put it as a Dre beat.

of course its opinion man, but most dpg fans would consider this a classic dogg pound track
