Yeah, it might be dissin both, but Ja Rule is only the pop rapper who gets airplay, it's actually aimed at monotonous radio stations

Almost all hip hop radio is complete bullshit now. I gave up on it a long time ago.

True Sikotic. I remember when Power 106 was the shit, when 92.3 the Beat had the Wake Up Show, and the Baka Boyz played real hip-hop from both coast. Now both stations sucked when I was home. Man, at one time you couldn't tell what was underground or commercal, now it's all Ja Rule for reals.

They completely changed The Beat. Fired all the old DJ's. I remember when they had that Houseparty thing in the mornings. Some real funny stuff, better than Steve Harvey. Fired Theo and Julio G, who were both good at what they did.
wtf ever happened to the Baka Boyz?

A new 'Black Music' station just launched here in the UK. It's called 1xtra. You can only listen to it through a DBA radio, Sky Digital TV or on the internet (www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra/) though. I've been listening to it over the weekend and it's played some pretty good hip-hop tracks. They have a DJ that plays more of the commercially successful artists (mainly US), then you have this one DJ that plays only independent/underground hip-hop (Uk & worldwide). It's good for the UK to finally have a proper station like this, everyone should check it out if you havn't already.
