Arent you... every fucking song these days has a rnb song either by a rnb signer or by the artits on the damn autotune.
-
yup
-
some of them I can take, some I can't
-
There are only a few hook singers that rarely disappoint when they do hooks. The only ones that I can think of are Nate Dogg, TQ, Anthony Hamilton and Mike Ant.

As long as the song is dope, I don't give a fuck
-
Trey Songz is the best "popular" hook singer right now out the whole group.
-
yeah pretty boring
-
its been like that for years.
-
rza adress that problem on the first track of the second disc of wu tang forever
-
These Akon, T-Pain, Chris Brown need to die .. we are going to have a lot of this on Game and Busta albums ... can't wait :-X
-
^^ Thats what gets to me. I mean a rnb hook or 2 on a record is fine hell a lot of the songs liked from Pac had some but the way its done right now is all the same, always the same fucking shit with the same kinda beats.
-
^^^^ 2008 is on its way to be the wackest year EVER for rap music .. and these wack ass crossover songs are the main reason
-
Yea i know and the wrost part is that every artist is doing it. It dosent even realy apply to one region anymore, everyone is doing it. From Tpain, to flo rida to rick ross to Game, to Jadakiss to Nas. Check out NAs's new song with paolo the don. The beat is same shit and i dint even get to the hook in fear of hearing something rnb
-
best hook singer: DJ Premier's Hands 8)
-
I always hated 98% of those hooks and even the other 2% would be expendable

props for saying what needed to be said

It's funny how you're not saying the same shit about the G-Funk days when the hooks were often female R&B vocals (think of Dre's records with Jewel, for instance). But of course, if the West did it, it's always OK and "gangsta" by default, whereas if modern Southern rappers do it, it's on that "sellout" tip.
You wiggers are funny.
