Title: Premeire of New Eminem Video- My Review
Post by: infinite59 on July 31, 2002, 08:21:34 AM: Okay, they just premeired the new Eminem video on TRL. And because the summer semester just finished, and I got fired from my job, I had nothing to do but lay around and wait for it to come on, lol.

I was definitely feeling the dark, eerie look of the video. I thought him praying in the church was cheezy, but other then that the video was well put together.

Phillip Atwell/ Dre directed it, and Dre makes a brief cameo, where he is in the studio.

Eminem is just digging but no body ever goes in the whole that he is digging.

It's an obvious exzaggeration of his childhood with his mom chasing him in his room, yet it was very dope when the scene changed "back to 73/ before he ever had a multiplatinum cd."

I'd say it's his not his best video, nor is it his worst, ya'll won't be dissapointed, but you won't be blown away either.

Ohh... and Direct Affects is having an extended preview of the movie "8 Mile" on Aug. 7th. And the first single for the soundtrack is an Em track called "Lose Control". (I think)

Ummm, tha BAC TO 73 bit waz genious....Tha video waz directed pretty well, Mixed well, but I dunno, there waz somethin missin....It waz coo tho....

He's had quite a few dark & eerie video's though, I mean "Stan" & "The Way I Am" were both pretty dark imo, to fit the dark concepts of the songs, and I liked them. "Just Don't Give A Fuck" was a pretty eerie video too, same with "Role Model".
