i also dont see what dres big hang up over detox is. we probably could have got two classic records with the amount of material he's recorded for this shit already, and now Lamont is saying they're only 65% done? bitch please

I don't think Detox is ever coming out. In 2007 they said it's "definately coming out this year", one year later we find out it's only 65-75% done. I don't think it's possible for Detox to live up to the hype. How many albums have been worked on that long and actually got released?

Bad idea Dr.Dre!! Use Detox to promote Bishop, then drop his solo album.
Like after 2001, Dr.Dre could've immediately release Hitman a month later, and probably would've sold well. If Bishop and Dre can finish Detox and his solo album, release Detox in November (lets say) then Bishops in December, you basically get all the free buzz and promotion and push it on to the next project. Bishop's album releasing first won't go platinum (maybe gold) and won't help Detox.

Aftermath could release some good shit, but they don't put out anything! I don't know what to think, but hey did you expect anything else?

I don't think Detox is ever coming out. In 2007 they said it's "definately coming out this year", one year later we find out it's only 65-75% done. I don't think it's possible for Detox to live up to the hype. How many albums have been worked on that long and actually got released?
+ 1. This is a really good point, and I personally agree to the fullest. I had interest and was so hyped about detox. now it has gotten to the point of being a fucking pun joke. i have honestly lost interest. would i listen to it if he released it? of course. however, the fact remains, i wouldn't be nearly as excited to hear it then as if it came out a year ago or whenever it was supposed to. you can only tease and hype an album to a certain extent. after a while it gets fuckin old and tedious.

Man Dre is losing love real quick on the West by takin' niggas for a ride!!! Aftermath sounds like it's finna take a turn for the worst with Busta album hope he stepped his game up after that last album and Bishop he ain't got that spark like Snoop had when he first dropped on the Chronic!
