First off....1) Wtf is that? Lol.
2) I thought most things that suck blood like insect wise fall off randomly by themself AFTER they've sucked enough blood to provide sufficient for however long. You know like leeches grow in size and fall off by themself after a while, but not before you've felt the pain lol.
3) That cat's got something that ain't right maybe?

This is why you should wash your pussy consistently.

First off: This is a tick. They're weird and potentially dangerous spider-like creatures who crawl around mammal's skins (including humans) and once they're in a position they consider cozy enough, they bite and start sucking blood. This tick, being blown up like that, has actually had time to suck quite a lot of blood, the fact it fell off by itself actually means it had a lot. Otherwise it wouldn't be blown up like that. You should be careful pulling ticks out of skin (read up on that), because if you do it wrong, part of the damn thing could remain in there (like the head) and that would make it even more difficult to get the whole thing out.

Also, I don't know about cats, but I can tell you that ticks can transmit diseases, viral meningitis worst case. It depends on where you live though, in some areas they can, in some not (kinda like mosquitoes and malaria). If a tick bites you, get it out as quickly as possible. If you do get ill within a certain time span, see a doctor.

...and there's nothing wrong with your cat. Ticks mainly lurk in high grass, and if your cat gets close, they might just opt to jump on it. You can wash it 50 times a day, soon as it leaves the house, it can happen.

That's about what I can tell you.

Man, this shit comes with the territory. LOL! If you are going to get rid of either because of this shit you need help. If you walk them around outside they are almost guaranteed to get them with your animals. That or fleas. We have tons of them around my area.

you can also go to the vet and get a pill that they take, or a oil you put on the back of their shoulders, and they are very effective. collars are the cheapest way though.

get it a tick collar or medicine that you bathe it in to kill them

if one ever gets on you and sucks your blood get a lighter and put the flame by the tick but not actually on the tick and it will get off by itslef because of the heat
and then stomp it to death

because if you just pull the body part where are the the blood is stored sometimes the head stays on where it was suckin the blood and continues to suck so its better that you get it off like that then just pulling it off

you must not like them much

this shit is probably your fault in the first place haha

Some shit is being talked in here lol. Any animal walking around outside might catch ticks, like some people pointed out there's ways to protect your cat/dog, although none is 100% safe. It's normal, getting rid of the pets would be overreacting insanely, it's nothing to do with hygiene or strange behavior. Also, ticks don't hide in your bed, they only live in high grass and rarely in the woods, not in people's apartments, on the streets or in the subway. The only way to get a tick bite is to walk around out in the green.

Also, they might not transmit diseases where you live, and if they don't, they're only annoying but not any dangerous. Maybe you wanna learn about that.
