Title: Whats up wit' Kidd Sensation? Mr.D.O.G? and other notable past N.W artists
Post by: Dj.Thirrzty on June 24, 2008, 02:36:56 AM
Those two in my opinion had the skill and talent it takes to make it in hip-hop. I'm sad to say it seems like seattle and vancouver struggle to get noticed and get popping outside our region. I know theres a wealth of new talent on the rise like is it the parker brothers? they dope, the homie 'will wadhams', he dope, we've had mix-a-lot, rascals, swollen members and a couple others the latter 2 sort of broke it mainstream, but I mean you hear kube 93, or hear about summer jam in seattle? they got tastemakers and dope dj's around here who know what's poppin', and play dope tunes for the masses, and the way things go for fashion and women and cars here is dope too, so I need everyone's support when they hear bout something dope from spokane, seattle, tacoma, vancouver, the whole northwest wuteva, so we can start breaking more local artists to the attention of other regions.

Kid Sensation was dope - that first album was damn near classic. I heard he changed his name to Xola Malik and he might be dropping some new shit this year. Recently read an interview here:
