The Pistons are reportedly looking to deal for Golden State point guard Baron Davis, according to The Detroit Free Press.
Davis is not expected to opt-out of his contract, meaning that he will play out the final year of his deal worth $17.8 million.
After getting the cold shoulder from the Nuggets regarding Carmelo Anthony, the Pistons are rumored to be focused on Davis currently.
Likely pieces in the deal would be Chauncey Billups, Rasheed Wallace, and Al Harrington.
wow imagine if this went down; definition of a blockbuster.

GUILTY

This would put Detroit over the top...BD has really been bumpin' heads with Don Nelson these past couple seasons, so if Nellie remains the coach, you can bet your ass BD wont be in GS uni next season.

how are the lake show's chances?
i loooooooooove fish and all , but he's not getting any younger and i'm not ready to let Farmar Inherent this position.
also i hear we're looking at Gilbert .....true?

YEA FARMAR AINT READY FOR THIS SHIT.
GILBERT WOULD BE A SICK ADDITION TO THE LAKERS. MAYBE THEYD HAVE A CHANCE NEXT FINALS.
-
I think Farmar could be a good starter.
-
^He could, and Fisher is solid as well...Our problems didn't come from the PG position this season. Obtaining BD or Arenas would give us an all-star starting line-up. It's unlikely...I'm fine with what we have.
-
If we get Arenas Sparegeez owes me 80 bucks.
-
^What's the bet?
-
^ The original bet was that the Lakers would have a better record than the Warriors.
Then we went double or nothing that Arenas would be a Laker next season.

That was a dumb bet of you to make...why the hell would Arenas take the MLE when he can get over triple that?

because triple that isn't enough to buy one of these:

Good point. If Arenas was smart, he'd sign with LA.
-
Would be cool if the Pistons trade went down, I can't stand them right now, they've been basically the same core for such a long time, fuck them; and if Arenas signs with the Lakers for the MLE one better hire some hitmen to take care of that shit.

Yea...only now they don't have that dominant banger in the post.
-
apperently they want to trade Odom for Richard Jefferson.....
-
^Not gunna happen, thank God.
-
Not sure about this deal, Baron has become a major fan favorite in the Bay Area, and him and Nelson have been great as player and coach, except for the last week or two of last season, where almost the whole team looked too tired to make a run. I wouldn't mind losing Harrington, but I'm not too thrilled about Rasheed coming, I'm just not sure how much he has left and how well he would fit in.
-
Baron in Detroit? Naaaaaaaa.

Are u just like totally in love with Odom? I would rather have him then Jeff too, but u act like Odom is like top 20 in the league or something..i dont get it..No disrespect meant, hes a good player but the playoffs summed up pretty much what he is...

Odom was great in the playoffs...it's the finals where the team as a whole struggled. If you said that you'd rather have Odom over Jefferson, what's the problem? Odom is a one of a kind player who fits nicely in the triangle. Can rebound, facilitate, take you off the dribble, post you up, defend, dribbles, everything. He's a vital piece to any success the Laker had last season. He may not be a top 20, but he's one of the most versatile players out there...PeACe
