i love both albums and i kno streets is the mutha is considered the best kurupt album.
i blaze kuruption more than streets is the mutha cuz
1) its more gangsta vibe to it
2) kurupts choice of beats are right on point, producers are dope eg daz, d-moet, dr.dre, battlecat, easy mo bee, devante etc
3) kurupts rhymes is dope
4) guest appearances eg buckshot, baby s, tray dee, slip capone, gonzoe, slop, patacico, noreaga etc
5) 2 discs of dope music
sum traks i thought wer jus pointless but after i gave them a proper listen to, they wer jus dope eg I wanna.., for those who dont listen to the trak please blaze that shit!!
tha streets iz the mutha is a dope album too, beats are dope etc but i prefer kuruption
wat u guys think?

If Kuruption was 1 disc it would have been better. It was a great album but can't touch all the features and production that Streetz had.

I picked Tha Streetz Iz The Mutha, but tha West Coast CD on Kuruption was tight too!

voted: Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha
My favorite Kurupt album, even though "Kuruption" is great too, but it should've been only one album.
-
no doubt in my mind: Tha Streetz
Kuruption was Kurupt's worst album thus far in my mind, not feelin it at all :-\
maybe i have to give kuruption another spin

whoa whoa whoa. lunatic man, seriously u cant diss kuruption. its not his worse album, its 1 of his best. same day different shit is his worse album, ther is a few dope cuts on it but nutn compared to his previous albums.
yh please giv it a proper listen too lol
-
^lol i found the entire album boring besides 4-5 tracks (thats bad for a double disc)
i gotta spin it again though

It's funny how much love Kuruption gets now. This album to most when it came out was the sign Kurupt fell off. I enjoyed a collective of songs. The West was stronger then the East but he had some straight lyrical cuts on the East. I just felt TSIAM had better beats, did not sound freestyled from track to track, introduced us to Fred Wreck, better guest cuts, it was just a better overall album. Kuruption sounded forced and that he was trying to appeal to too many people. Tha Streetz is probably one of the best DPGC albums to come out and few album from the crew after that can top it. The blueprint along with Doggfather for a DPGC album IMO.

The Streetz

Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha (That song with Daz) shits all over Kuruption. I'm not saying that kuruption is bad, that's good album too.
That song is just awesome.

Man we need Higheyecue and Tanj in this thread for real.

what about me? :)
I liked the East Coast disc of Kuruption better than the West because I listen to east coast music as much as the next dude, so it was like a breath of fresh air hear Kurupt over some east beats and collabing with East artists.
I don't know what it is about Streetz, but I find myself listening to my custom CD of Kuruption (14 tracks) more than that.
it seemed too mainstream for Kurupt, with the exception of a few tracks. I liked the dark production on Kuruption and his rhyming was more prolific than on Streetz. it was the last sign of DR Kurupt, IMO.
in the end, I personally like Kuruption better. it has more replay value for me. I know that Streetz had blazin' production, but Kuruption was vintage Kurupt.

it is, but I think "It's a Set Up" shits all over that. haha

Hey you already in it homie. ;D
East disc was cool but alot of those beats were very weak in my opinion. I would have liked to hear it if some big time east coast producers would have got a hold of that disc. It just at times on songs on there it sounded rushed. It still has enough bangers for me to bump though.

nah, she isn't. I never heard of 'em though, so here's what I found online:
they're an all-female group originally consisting of N-Tyce, J-Boo, Champ MC, Finesse, and Lin Que.

Yeah Wu-Tang I think was going to put them out on a label they started.

Both are great. I just think that Streetz has more replay value, and thats how i made my final decision. I think Kurupt spits more raw on Kuruption..
-
Both very good albums but Streetz iz a Mutha an undeniable classic.
If you can press play once and let the whole album bang, thats called gang$ta shit!
