this track is da bomb, luv it, certainly 1 of the highlights from the "tha dogg pound 2002" album. a classic trak fo sho.
Is there an og to this track? cuz kurupts verse has nothing to do with smoking and in the booklet it says its produced by cold187, did he really make a new beat, if he did then cold187 really produced a bangin joint or did he add kurupts verse on this trak? and its jus suga buga from tha relativez on this trak, big wy aint on it so the last rapper on this is nuttz? nuttz featured on "this is the thanks you get" by tha relativez and it does sound like him?
-
dope ass fuckin track.
big wy aint on there?why does it say "feat. tha relativez" then? >:(

There has got to be an original version, because Kurupt and Snoop are kicking their old school flows and the dude in the third verse was clearly recorded years later.

I always wondered if soopafly was originally on this song

It does sound like Soopa would rock on this
-
snoop talks about him in the song too....
"I got my nigga name kingpin on the right, and we gon' smoke all night. My nigga priest gon' increase the peace..."

Obviously... That's why I said there's an original version. You can tell simply by the fact that Kurupt is kicking the crazy multis and being referred to as "Kingpin". See, but the dude at the end mentions the year 2004, so was he added later on?
I thought it was common knowledge that these were all old DPG songs remixed by Death Row.

Daz wasn't too happy about the release, but Kurupt was. Kurupt even re-did some vocals for the release. It's been stated a few times in interviews and such regarding Kurupt's part.
