Title: Forget about the Clippers...WARRIORS ARE DOOMED.

Harrington to Ask for a Trade? (http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=9335)

The news that Baron Davis is leaving town has hit several of his teammates hard. In particular Al Harrington believes Davis' departure will destroy the Warriors. He's even hinting that he may ask for a trade if he doesn't like what he hears from GM Chris Mullin when they meet in the next few days.

The key here may be Brand. If the Warriors can lure him away from the Clippers it would be a huge step towards showing Harrington and others that the team is not about to enter a rebuilding phase. If the Warriors allow that perception to slip out things could start to fall apart quickly, as they have a number of free agents who would be more inclined to listen to offers from contenders than sit around and wait for a youth movement centered around Brandan Wright to come to fruition.

Their fate is in Brand's hands! LOL. :-X

Yup...it's supposedly Brand who pushed for the Clippers to sign BD. He's staying.

Exactly..I wanted him gone anyways, we need to clear him out so Wright and Randolph can get some minutes, or even add Josh Smith!  :o

lol wow i dont' think the heat or the wolves have to worry about maintaining the worst record in the league anymore.

^^The Heat should be decent, because they are playing in the East, have a healthy Wade and Marion, added Beasley. Losing Baron is a big loss, but Monta is a restricted free agent, the Warriors will match any offer for him, and hopefully pick up another free agent, they aren't going to be the worst team in the league.

^^If they got rid of both of them, or even 1 in the next year, I don't know if I could honestly be a fan anymore..And I've been a diehard for this team since the early 90's, where I have seen all my favorite players leave, from Hardaway, Spreewell, Jamison, Arenas, J-Rich, but this would top all of that. Monta is the future, he is already a good player after only 3 years, and Steven Jackson was the captain, and the way the fans and Nelson have embraced him and vice-versa has been great, they need to keep him.
