it's good that you're doing big things.  don't miss out on experiences for this shit though.  sounds like you still have a good time so it's all good.  My old roomate is now in osteopathic medicine, he tells me frequently that he wishes he would have had more fun in his high school and undergrad days.  it's all good though, do ya thing!
