Roy Halladay?

Cliff Lee?

These two are the favourites to start.  Halladay is 11-6 with a 2.71ERA and 121K to 21BB has 7CG and 2SO.  Lee is 12-2 with a 2.31ERA and 106K to 20BB has 1CG and 1SO.

But I'll go with...

It would be great to see him come out to start the final All-Star game at Yankee stadium.

if the jays could score some runs, Roy would be like 15-1 or maybe 14-2.  Either way, he has 7 complete games already and nobody is even close to him.  Most "Cy-Young" type pitchers are lucky if they have 5 CG all season.

didn't he also pitch like 5 straigh CGs?

anyways, i think they should give Rivera the start since it's the last season they'll play at Yankee Stadium.
plus they have enough closers / relievers so that shouldn't be a problem.

He threw 4 CGs in a row, lost 3 of them.

that's the part that really sucked.
there wasn't much run support in those 3 losses; altho in 2 of those he didn't have too strong an outing.
