1 Uncle Face - Cool Intro; Face spittin game at the lames.
2. Gotta Shine - 5/5 - good way to start off the album.
3. Dope Game Ft. Scarface - 4.75/5 - Good track, wish face came harder.
4. Do It Like I Dont It - 4.25/5 - the lead single, club track - very tolerable.
5. Get Paper - 3/5 - filler.
6. Good Enough To Eat - 4.5/5 - I'm feelin this LOL!
7. Caddies To Caprices - 3.5/5 - average as fuck.
8. 25 Diamonds - 4/5 - somethin nice for the ride.
9. Major Grind - 4/5 - cool album cut.
10. Lookin Good - 3.5/5 - not really my style.
11. Swang On Em - 5/5 - great track, fav on the album.

I have yet to listen to the record, but sure you ain´t a littel too nice with your ratings? :P  :P ;)
Anyway will give it a spin and do a quick review of it a little later ;).
I am always generous with my ratings; I don't rate music in one category, i rate it SPECIFIC to the artists and their discography/music

I see,in that case.... you´re actully WAY WAY too nice (in general),I can´t speak on this album yet.
So I assume you rate it up against Face´s other projects like Geto Boys,FaceMob,The Product and what not?

Nah, no face shit - face barely on this album, 1 guest appearance. Just rate it for what i expected (down south ridin music).

Yeah Chad I can't really get into this album much. Just sounded like everything else that is out at the moment.

The intro is kinda contradicting,Face speaking on the state of Hip Hop then this :P.
But this is one of the few projects by Face I don't feel,so no damage done as far I look at him.

The whole album is a contradiction. I think at times they had a opportunity to make some music with some meaning but it sounded like they reverted back to the bling bling, riding chevys type music Paul Wall or Slim Thug does. I am sure if they drop a 2nd album it will be less of that. Nothing wrong with it, it just for me it makes them blend in with everyone else.

Scarface only on two tracks? I guess I won't be listening to this.

I believe there's possible to make good music in every genere.
I don't necessary have to like the particular album or style of music, but I can hear the quality.
Like for example I find Native Tongue's style (alternative rap) and albums boring as fuck.
But I can't front that for example the first De La and Jungle Brothers is some classic shit.
So can´t help to compare the style and music they´re doing to UGK,which in my opinion made numerous of classics with this style.

Good point. UGK could do this subject matter and thrive with it. Green City just sounded average or below at times on this album.
-
ehhh, you´re comparing this up against UGK and similar acts?
LOL no chad, u really gotta understand what im saying - im not really comparing at anything CLASSIC (UGK, Face, Geto Boys, etc.)
I'm comparing it to what I expected - the type of southern music that puts production and hooks before lyrics :P
-
^o alright, good
-
ehhh... i wish the production was better. Only tracks i'm really feeling are "Good Enough To Eat" and "Slide Thru Killen" :-\
