Title: Dubbed movies.

I know this is the wrong section, but the Entertainment board is as good as dead, and anything goes in the G-Spot.

So, I've been thinking about this for a long time. Why is that countries like Germany and Russia constantly dubbs the English / American movies?
I'd be pissed off if the filmcompanies (or whatever) dubbed American movies to Norwegian. It would totally ruin the movie for me.

What's the reason? Lack of English comprehension or reading ability? lol
No diss, I'm just wondering.

Lol, yeah. I understand why they do it in Indian and countries like that, but the linguistic level in Germany should be high enough so subtitles should be enough.
