Death Row is gone! GMG might own the name and the catalog but you're never gonna see an authentic Death Row revival. As a fan, I'm sad to see it go but it's refreshing to have that closure because people were getting annoying with their denial at times.

I see it's remaining master tapes and documents sitting in the closet of some rich country music executive, while he/she strums away on a guitar in the next room singing about black nigger coons.  :-\

pretty much a done deal. it would be hard to find that caliber of talent that would rival early the death row days.

I never got why people were fans of Death Row after Dre left and it all fell apart, as if the name means anything on its own

I see it in the same place it was 8 years ago.

Damm, it's reign was 92-96 and arguably 99...but people still think they could come back, in 2008? Even after "The NEW" Row never did anything?

I never got why people always thought Death Row fell apart after Dre had left, as if he was the only talented artist on the label.

Ignorance is bliss.

it's simple, when Dre left, Death Row fell off  ;)

When Suge went in, that's when they fell off...not because of Dres departure.

I just wish all that unreleased material would leak. After that I wouldn't give a fuck if I ever heard about Death Row, Suge, or whoever else ever again.

That's pretty much how I feel at this point, but I'll never forget the classic joints.
