Windows explorer keeps crashing and restarting and I keep getting these rundll C:/Windows/System32/... problem messages. All of Vista is running slow as fuck and programs (like Firefox) stop working out of the fuckin' blue.

you could try doing a repair install
basically, put in your vista install disc, and go through the setup process, but select the repair option instead of doing a fresh install, that way it keeps all your data etc.

^^I don't have the disc. :(

stop using vista go back to Xp
nah but u should be able to do a full restore but hitting f10 at boot try that

yea xp is more stable but unless your planning to get a new computer u should stick with vista, because vista is gonna be the new xp in about a year.
get an external drive save your files on there and restore it to factory someshit. trust me an external hard drive is good for the future too
