2Pac said in an interview that it was Jada's idea to do the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome concept and she was supposed to direct the video, but for whatever reason she didnt direct it.  I think Hype Williams round up directing it

Jada pinket and TuPac were highschool classmates when Tupac lived on the East Coast, they both, well Jada's from Baltimore (bodymore, md) and Tupac is from (the bronx, ny and lived in Harlem, NY...right round the corner from were they filmed the movie Juice, in the riverside section of Harlem. but moved later to Bodymore and went to Jadas school, they stay in touch when he moved to Oakland, and became the most popular niggah in Oakland, and moved to LA and became the most popular niggah in LA
