some posters who've been around since the beginning said they moved away from the west coast section.
so what has really changed?

I guess most peoples issues are because back then it was a closer knit family. With a few thousand members and maybe 100-200 regular posters its always gonna feel that way. Everyone knew everyone and it just felt like a tighter community. Over time as we've grown the place has lost some of that feel but no matter what any one says its still got a core of people that keep this place a real community - far more so than any other forum in this genre i know that is of this size...

makes sense  ;) thanks for picking up the pieces  :)
i was getting tired of the all bark no bite mentality in the topic mentioned in the first post.

and i definitely agree with you, otherwise i wouldn't have started checking for the site and forum in 2006 ( first as a guest).

why not create a 'secret board', like you-know-where for members who are over a certain amount of posts?? keep the old community together without the bullshit spammings of game and spider stans.

I've sorta tried this with the HUS,everytime I have suggested this...
for ex. to Twisted about the Kurupt thread and for a Pimp C thread Luna once did,
but they was like nobody check that section so they didn't want to move their thread in there.
Which I understand, they want the thread to have "traffic".
I like the idea... so it should be considered.
Then again when you think about itīs always the same cats that spam;
-This Messi characther (Game,Game and Game)
-Westside169 (MC Eiht and UFOīs)
-Clint (seems to have grudge against the online Hip Hop community)

Pluss a few random cats... I probably forgot a couple, but we all know who.  :P  ;)

Can you make your posts white? The black on blue is not eye-friendly :P

It wouldnt be based on posts, it would be a selected few based on length of time on the forums, contribution etc. A number of factors would need to be considered if anything like this was to happen

Maybe it should be a "OG" section, members that has been here for X amount of years and we "newbies" got to earn our stripes first to get access?
We "newbies" still enjoy the West Coast section...  ;)

Yeah, let's make a West Coast section without you :D

that requires the westcoast section and the new section to be moderated heavily, otherwise the plan fails as there is nobody that can adapt the guidelines that you and Seer had come up with.
