as far as 50 was concerned, nas was the reason he was cut off, but you can't really know how legit is that
and track is been a favourite of mine for quite a while now.version with 50 is nice as hell too

I only know 50's side of the story and here's what he said:
For those that don't know 50 and Nas were really cool back then. Then 50 got shot and Irv and Ja stared going to J.Lo and her managers how he is a loose cannon ect... They took 50 off the song which was suppose to be his big break/introduce him to the general public and replaced him with Nas. 50 said that he wasn't pissed that Nas replaced him but that Nas didn't told him and that he had to find it out through the radio when the song first got played.
Anyways, that's 50's side of why he acts like a 16 year old highschool girl when he speaks about Nasir.
