easily the best album of both Kurupt and Daz
I'll go with Streetz
-
streetz is way better than r.a.w
-
I give the edge to Streetz on lyrics but not by much. Daz was flowing on that RAW album. Beats he was on point also. But Kurupt stepped it up big time on Streetz. That and Doggfather IMO are the prototype for DPGC albums.
-
streetz of course.. raw was my shit..gangbang years.. but damn...kurupt got this one
-
Kurupt Wins This, But RAW Was Tight
-
Both are classics but i will have to go with "Tha Streetz Iz A Mutha", like the homie D-Nice said, it's an Dogg Pound Gang album. Everybody is there, Snoop, Daz, Tray Deee, Warren G, Soopafly, Nate Dogg, Roscoe, Butch Cassidy. Bad Azz wasn't though, but you can hear him on the hook of "Ride With Us".
-
two classic albums 8)
-
both album excellent but streets better line-up :)
-
Streetz definitely but R.A.W is great too.
-
long beach is active this is your 1st post that i feel cause this streetz is a mothafucka cd was the 1st time i heard crooked iīs voice before i red his name in 2pacīs greatest hits vol.1 in the cd booklet.

Soopafly said it best on that album
Individually we the shit, but together we can't be fucked with
To me, at they height, DPGC was like a west coast Wu-Tang. Capable MC's, dope producers, the whole 9. They could really produce albums with no outside help. Yeah Dre was a big part of their early success, but these 2 albums showed they could venture out on their own. Me personally, I don't even really consider alot of DPGC guests on each other's albums a problem. That was one positive I liked about Tha Streetz and Doggfather. It showcased the crew. Same with Tha Streetz. We got introduced to Fred Wreck, Roscoe (he killed his verse), Meech Wells beats on a Kurupt album, Crooked I busting with Kurupt, etc. Where alot of them get into trouble with they albums is when they try left field shit or get away from the family.
-
Not to make it seem like I do not like RAW. That was a crazy album too. Beats were on some other shit, bass heavy, hard hitting, melodic. Daz did not sound forced or rushed like he does at times now on the mic. Guests were few, but all of them crew and did they thing well. A true Daz solo, by far his best.
-
Raw was good but common its no contest. Streetz gave Kurupt mad credit, next album he was doing songs with Fred durst who was hot at the time and everlast. Dude was about to blow up..i dont know what happened
-
It would definitely be Streetz iz a Mutha for me, but RAW was somewhat close. By the way was I the only one who thought Girls all pause was way overrated?
-
Streetz easily. it has more replay value and is ageless. RAW was great too though.
Streetz had the whole DPG click on there, so you can't go wrong. Kurupt is better than Daz anyway. haha
-
streetz
-
"Can't trust nobody" is one of the dopest tracks on the album
-
I Call Shots, Who Ride Wit Us, Girls All Pause...shit, I could go on all day...
-
WUS UP FRED....
-
may catch some some flak but fuck it....im gunna go for RAW on this one....i physically own both which is very rare cuz i dont buy online and u can never find these cds in Ireland but i did :D
for me RAW is probably one of my fave cds of all time...a true personal classic...completely seamless all the way through imo
Streetz, while still a personal classic, is not on the same personal level(imo of course). Streetz imo had 1 or 2 fillers :-\
