To be honest the real reason of asking this question is "how do eminem fans feel about just lose it?" I like that song, sound is banging, eminem's flow is allright, leads and drums make you dance... everything is ok BUT!!! but there is something missing on this song right? It's not a without me or real slim shady. Help me to find out answer...

Although his albums aren't always the best, he's the greatest artist probably in history at picking the right single to sell albums.
-
it's either "My Name Is" or "The Real Slim Shady". "Lose Yourself" was another classic Shady single.
ima vote "My Name Is". it was kinda like the take off, of the great career he's lead.
off topic...lmao at the thread saying "Pool".

Word. I feel like that was his signature lead single. I'm basing it on lead singles of his solo albums. TRSS was during a time of his prime and the music captured the hype surrounding him at the time.
-
My Name is fersure. That songs a classic. Still gets played to ths day. That cd is classic!
-
wtf where is the lead single "Just Don't Give a Fuck" from SSEP???
i can understand leaving off Infinite because it's singles probably never got printed
-
Lose Yourself is probably the only one of those that I like.
-
The first time i heard my name is i was ilke what the fuck is this lol but its tight
Realslim Shady was real cool, reminds me of the hole 99-2000 era of mtv, carson daily, limp bizkit, kid rock, korn, manson, Aguilera, spears and the show Fat Farm or wtv.
Wihtout me is a tight jam that bass line is off the hook

My first memory was My Name Is and the hype in my school cause he was seen as too rude for little kids, so everyone wanted to hear his albums of course. :P Remember one boy bought SSLP and us all taking turns to listen to My Name IS on his walkmen. My best ememory of Em is when we were in a music lesson and the teacher was real pissed off. SOme boy got on the xylophone and started playing The Real SLim Shady and we all sang along lmao uhh good times back in primary school

Interesting thing about Eminem's four albums is that the first single really indicated the quality of the rest of the album. Marshall Mathers LP was his best album (Dre calls it the closest thing to a perfect album he's ever done) and it had the best lead single, "Real Slim Shady". Then Em's worst album came with the worst single, which was "Just Lose It" for the record Encore which was kind of his farewell to rap because he knew he just couldn't bring it like he used to, he'd lost his desire and best he could come up with was burping, farting, and making fun of Michael Jackson.
"Lose Yourself" may be the song that he is most remembered for decades from now. That will be his lasting legacy, his greatest record of all time.
My personal favorite Em track was also on 8 Mile, the title track "8 Mile Road".
-
Lose Yourself; although other leadsingles are also brilliant in different ways
-
Can't wait to hear that joint with Premo thats mean to be a street single...
-
Definitely Real Slim Shady. has a place in my heart.
-
Lose Yourself, but I got other favorite songs than these n.1 singles ;)

Definitely "Lose Yourself" out of those. "Real Slim Shady" is king of his pop tracks though.

i wanna know how that is poppy? the beat? the hook? i mean the theme and meaning of what he was tryin to get across is so dope.

I picked "The Real Slim Shady" only because it was hype when it first came out. I would pick "Lose Yourself" but that technically came from a movie soundtrack. Not an actual Eminem album.

the beat and the hook is poppy and the "message" is so wack

Like the other dude said Real Sim Shady reminds me of them TRL and MTV days.
-
I voted for "Lose Yourself" which is pretty much around the last time that Eminem was relevant imo.

The beat, the catchy hook, the funny lyrics... It was specifically made to cater to the Top 40 audience. There's nothing wrong with it being more pop than most his stuff, I'm just saying. He always releases a "Top 40 single" first, then follows up with a song targeting more the hip-hop audience.

Definitely "Lose Yourself" out of those. "Real Slim Shady" is king of his cheesy lead off singles though.
