Title: i dont undestand the album leaking
Post by: snopafly on August 19, 2008, 02:51:18 AM: I dont undestand why its good that albums getting leaked, it can have a good effect or a realy bad effect. leaks of albums should be on the same the day, the albums is realeased in the stores. well album leaking is to get a good peak into the album, but cant it have a totally different effect ?? hurting sales?

another thing dont we allready have the mixtapes dj to leak snippets and songs allready??

I dont undestand why rappers like ice cube, snoop dogg, nas is leaking the albums 1 or 2 weeks before realease dates .... Dont their names allready sell alot??

please get me a insight why and why??

labels or whatever , its stupid couse mixtape dj should promote songs. Its the best way to promote hiphop artists.. Leaking a album is like , here you can have the album for free. Then people copy it to ipods or whatever and they dont buy the cd..

I think leaking hurts more

Maybe back in the days, but these days mixtape dj's are the curse of hip hop.
