Nintendo, Sega, N64, all that shit
I knew a guy who had tons of games
how do you do it?
-
many ways. search for emulators (programs that run the old systems) and subsequently search for ROM's. torrent / google would be your best choice
-
I figured it out
but it sucks using the keyboard
any alternatives?
-
^you can buy a PS2 controller & a special cabel which you connect to your usb port (thats how I play my games) or just buy yourself a normal PC pad.

www.theoldcomputer.com
some cats just get an old arcade machine and mod it and add all the games they want

the PS2 controller would work for the N64 games?
got a picture? I'd like to know what exactly you're talkin about
-
Yes it does work. I play N64, PSX, arcade & SNES games using my PS2 controller, all thx to the PS2 converter (mine looks different):

that's it? :D
auto plug-n-play? no configuration or downloading shit to make it work?
thanks for the help
-
No problem, you just have to configurate your pad settings in the emulator & you're good to go.
-
you can easily get adapters so you can use a 64 controller too. emulators are pretty good they allow you to set-up the analogue sticks some even support rumble pack for a proper n64 experience. plus the graphics get upscaled for higher resolution monitors 8)

I'm on a Mac, will this pose a problem?
*also is this a good one ya think?

I bought a logitech control pad from best buy. All you have to do is customize the buttons.
As for emulators, search through google.com.
-
I don't think Macs pose any problem, you just need a usb entry in your computer. That converter looks good, you can connect 2 pads, I can connect only one :P I bought mine used from a friend a couple of years ago & it works just fine.

I got an emulator for SNES and there are no options in the menu bar to make it fill the screen or make it a bigger picture
