I was thinking the same thing, both tracks sound alike. I don't know which one is better though, I prefer the beat on "State Of Emergency" but Game, Snoop and Xzibit all killed "California Vacation". I wish Cube had at least one verse on "S.O.E.".

Cali Vacation - True west coast song, Game wasn't bad and Xzibit was amazing beyond any limit. The synth brought me back to some Chronic shit. Oh yeah and snoop ruined it for me cus i'm sick of him.
State of Emergency - Game was better on this track I think. Cube did a pretty cool hook but should have done a verse. The beat was knockin but the synth was kinda awkward to me.

Both songs are str8 up bangers and to me they are the best tracks off their albums.
I love it when Game works on a song with J.R. and a west coast legend.
The music that comes out of it is just str8 dope westcoast music with a g-funk flavour.
I still remember, the first time I heard Cali Vacation I was just blown away.
I thought that this would be the new California Love, if Game would have pushed it as a single.
Instead of this he had put out the wackest song of DA: "Won't get this far" with Kanye West.
I love both of the songs, but I gotta pick Cali Vacation.

I went for state of emergency as it feels like more of a game song, where as california vacation was more like some xzibit and snoop album featuring game.
